I think 7bit was referring to the splashes of blue paint on the table in the picture, makes it look like you painted the legends blue yourselfphotekq wrote:7bit, the 'CTRL' and 'PRT SC' legends seem to be doubleshot, unlike the very strange ones Grond found a while ago.
I'll post photos shortly.
Ah right, I hadn't noticed thoseBroadmonkey wrote:I think 7bit was referring to the splashes of blue paint on the table in the picture, makes it look like you painted the legends blue yourself
That was the one I was going to bid, but someone.. *sigh*. Fuck.
I'm not surprised, because I'd already seen such keyboard with proper doubleshot CRTL – I think 7bit owns it now. Indeed I've seen several versions of this same Olivetti keyboard, all made in 1990 and marked under the same product code: some had black MY switches, some had white ones; some sported a full doubleshot sets, some had dye subs, and then there was the frankenkeyboard of course.photekq wrote:As I thought.. The 'CTRL' and 'PRT SC' legends are doubleshot. You can see there is a seam inbetween the layers of plastic. This just makes Grond's previous find with the painted legends even stranger!
I wouldn't call it luck, just me being persistantIvanIvanovich wrote:Quite lucky to get such a good deal. GB layout 3011 seem to be quite rarer than the IT or DE counterparts. It's no US though.
Please do! Would love to see itstrafe wrote:Around $100 cheaper than my ANSI G81 find last year. Which reminds me, I should take some nice photos of it since I cleaned the case up a few weeks ago
