I've definitely seen them before. I'm not sure they have an official name (yet), though. They should be foam and foil.Polecat wrote: Well I don't see this in the Wiki, under Systel or General Instrument. Anyone recognize the switches?

DC-2014 with blue alps for $229.99 isn't all that bad, all things considered.

Wow, that brings back some memories! I knew George Morrow back in the day, and had a couple of his CP/M machines, an MD/2 and also a luggable version. The terminal for the MD/2 I believe was Zenith-based, and was called MDT-60, with a lovely (SKCC?) keyboard, but this keyboard must be for an earlier version. The keyboard for the luggable was awful, literally unusable, probably foam and foil, but the MDT-60 keyboard was compatible and would plug in and work. Good luck, hope you get it!

Multitech "Accufeel" keyboard with/for Apple II. No clue which switches this would have.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-APPLE-II- ... :rk:1:pf:0
It's in France if that helps anyone.
ITT Xtra branding on what looks like an Acer KB-101A/6011 case, but those sure aren't Alps switches!

Are those Keytronics foam and foil?

Thanks, Chyros, much appreciated! I had never heard of Multitech dome with slider until I saw your Franklin review, and I have one of those keyboards. The Apple II version is new to me also, and I had done a lot of digging for Multitech/Acer info. Good stuff.

Caution - that is not the original Leading Edge box! It's probably from the keyboard that replaced the Leading Edge, which would suggest it's not new.y11971alex wrote: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 3497618243

What the hell is it for? It's got a headphone jack, two RCA "Phono" jacks with labeling for -200V and +250V, a Mate-N-Lok(?) for DC power, and no other connections. Some kind of current-loop thing going on here? I have become... confused.

Ham radio. I'm dating myself (and I'm not even my type!). "CW" is Continuous Wave. Apparently this keyboard translates keystrokes to morse code to modulate a CW transmitter. The high voltage outputs would have been used with vacuum tube transmitters, specifically for whatever interface circuit the user built for that connection. Positive for plate voltage, negative for grid bias. I'm surprised there isn't a filament supply also, but they probably pulled that off the transmitter.

Even for a space-saving keyboard, that's a lot of money. Is that a realistic market price now? Oodigital_matthew wrote: Converted 3277 for lots of money:
