That is for sure the Cherry G80 version keyboard. Not a terrible deal for someone that can pick it up. System looks in fair shape, could be pretty nice after a very good clean up.

IBM Model 001, year 1982.

Is this something interesting? I am not after it.

Beam spring! It is interesting indeed. It's a "Great White" Displaywriter keyboard, with a fantastic feel. As well as being humongous…

Nice to see one in Europe for a change.

Texas Instruments TI 99/4a Keyboard. That shipping price!

This guy has also an Apple II, which is at €152 in this moment.

If anyone is interested I may act as translator if needed.

That is probably the fattest keyboard i've seen! Also interesting: Made in Italy!

Correct! The UK one I've played with is Italian, too. Meanwhile the US versions are Canadian!

The Great Whites are indeed tall, but they are not as wide as the F-122.

I would like to find one of the "compact" beam springs, as well as a Kishsaver!

Another chance to fail at acquiring a beamspring!
(I have bid unsuccessfully on beamsprings twice now, hope I get it this time ;_;)

I'm down 2-0, too. But with no plans on this one! Have at it. I want one of those smaller beam springs. Or at least one I haven't already met and been astounded by in girth!

My dream keyboard is a 3278, but I'll settle for a great white :P

Hope you get it! I just recently acquired a "Great White", and I have no plans to bid on this one, despite the fact that it appears to be in better shape than the one I got. For one thing, mine is missing the Code key. However, I have been able to replace it with the right shift key from an IBM Selectric II typewriter (except that the color does not match).

Besides, this one isn't in the US, for once! Don't go hogging all of them…

For any business to survive these days, it has to be global! ;)

Nevertheless, one Great White is enough! However, I would like to find a 3278 (or something similar) along with a 6019284.

I've only failed once so far. Probably because I have such a hard time finding them in the first place...

I see one M2 (maybe rubberdome), one 3000-looking-thing, two 1000-looking-things, and I think there's a few old Apple keyboards there too. Might get some nice boards from that one..

Yeah, some of the Apple stuff may be nice and Alpine. Hopefully they come with the shopping trolley!

Mu, this one is especially for you:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-5110-5114-C ... 58b10fbd10
IBM 5110/5114 system. It even has a little Mac/SE-like screen! Maybe we could all chip in and buy this for a DT hands-on museum.

I couldn't part out something like that! But the keyboard does look quite nice. It's got to be beam spring, right? It's also got to sell to an American, there's a big red warning sign when that page loads for me.

Meanwhile, here's the most overpriced SSK that I've ever seen. It's not even an industrial!

Guess those high hat Model F style mods must be worth more than I thought…

Does anyone know anything about this?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/191144544228?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT
It is an International Data Terminals 92-00132 keyboard. It reminds me of a beam spring, but I do not know what type of switch IDT used in this line of keyboards.

You're heading off into Haata territory now!

It's definitely not a beam spring. And, as it's not an IBM, the chances are high that it's some kind of linear switch; but I'm purely guessing. You've seen my Honeywell, right? Hall effect switches are some of the nicest out there, and were just one of many technologies doing battle back before cost cutting really set in, and innovation died out in the keyboard world.

http://deskthority.net/photos-f62/a-hon ... t6296.html

Old boards like that can be fascinating, with really wild switches like Univac's electromagnetic click switches out there if you go back far enough. But you've posed a question well beyond my shallow knowledge of the subject.

I believe the "official" phrase may be Random Ass Linear. ;)
