No, but what impresses me is all the locks and the keys are present on this one. I sold two of these last year, let's see if k32klaus makes more than me.Wodan wrote: ↑I hope you're all wearing your spending pants ... it's time for big game hunting:

OK, can I please ask to whoever wins this that if they're going to wreck the board for the switches as usual, that I can get the locks and the keys at least please? D: I'll pay for them if you want.Wodan wrote: ↑I hope you're all wearing your spending pants ... it's time for big game hunting:

Ummm, guys, look at the seller's update and new photos today. There are THREE of these keyboards. Can one of the Germans here confirm whether this auction is for ALL three? Or if he's going to auction the next two afterwards. It kinda seems like this auction is for 3 boards.

But why list them at all in the same auction without explicitly stating they are not included? What would be the point?nastrovje wrote: ↑He only says that he also has 2 extra boards. Both in english layout, 1 missing one key on position 4 and the other has everything except the electronics and was changed/soldered internally to fit a Schneider 1512 PC.

Perhaps he hopes for direct offers for the English keyboards (in order to avoid eBay fees).
Anyway, I just asked him whether the auction is for one keyboard or for all three.

It doesn't seem like it from the posting, but contact the seller and ask directly. If not, you'll probably find a willing proxy in Germany if you ask around.

XT board for $70, shipping included. Not the greatest deal, but looks relatively decent and no bidding war.

Not much, but you pay about ten times the price for the bling bling!gnmar2723 wrote: ↑Are nixies really any better than normal vintage blacks anyways?
Haha I knew it...5 locks and 5 keys Chyros !! That in itself is more rare than one of those keyboards!Chyros wrote: ↑OK, can I please ask to whoever wins this that if they're going to wreck the board for the switches as usual, that I can get the locks and the keys at least please? Seller answered, the Nixdorf auction is just for the German one.
He explains he added the last 4 pics because he had been asked how the English layout ones look like.
As can be seen, he says, the arrow keys as well as the "alt" and "shift" keys are dark grey on the German keyboard, while they are simply light grey in the English version.

The entire layout is different in the nav section comapred to mine meaning this one has more Nixies and it has more blanks also, notice the missing Nixdorf badge also which is a real bummer (not so if your just in it for the overhyped Nixies)kbdfr wrote: ↑Seller answered, the Nixdorf auction is just for the German one.

One of them has made it all the way to Texas! Not too many ISO-DE layout Nixdorf boards around here. I need to post photos soon...

This is so bizarre. Is the reasoning that there may be 5 users and that any given key allows access to a single user pathway?

Possibly, but since we have little to no information on the Terminals I don't think we will find out.
I could try and get in touch with these guys...

Fixed that for you. Whenever you see a four or five character code on the back side of a keyboard starting with FT, as this one does, it is foam and foil.ohaimark wrote: ↑The valid logic system is definitely F&F.

Ambra Model M, incase anyone is looking for a different M, with unique legends and IMO a crappy telephone cord cable. Looks to be in decent shape though.
