I've got one of those Honeywell keypads, converted to USB by fellow Canadian, HaaTa.
I just don't like the grey keycaps. (yes, real Canadians spell it "grey", unlike confused Americans who spell it "gray")

Right, I remember trading something about those a while back.
Converted to USB, you say? Promising! I wonder how HaTaa did it and how applicable his technology is to a whole keyboard.

What's up with the funky symbols on this Model M?

Useful for making ASCII art, I suppose. Also: it's an ISO UK but made in the US for a change.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141022659776? ... 1423.l2649
17 available, apparently. But £60 inc. p&p. And RJ45 connection, despite the more usual look.

Link doesn't work for me -- this one does:

Looks like a standard ISO enter to me. What do you mean?

I can vouch that it's a fantastic set of caps on these Honeywells, truly unlike anything else outside the world of Hall effect keyboards. And the switches aren't bad either. Just a shame there's no converter or custom controller for these guys yet.

Absolutely. White caps are my favourite, and those grey alphas with a splash of red really set them off. Strong colour, used wisely.

The top one is 1800ish. We should ask the seller if it is G80 or G81.
The other 2 are rubberdomes (G83), so the seat will not be very comfortable ...

The Acorn's an interesting, if lightweight, keyboard. I've played with one just like it. An A300:

Note: ANSI, and promoted by the BBC no less!

WoW !!
However, 50£ 'international' shipping ??
I find that rather expensive -
And I'm from Denmark, one of the most expensive countries in the World !!
Mµ, how much did you pay for domestic shipping ?
I'm thinking this may be 'group-buy'-material, and as most of you know :
I don't mind if the arranger makes a keyboard or two for himself !
PS :
A LED-less 1989 Model M ?
That's a bit strange, isn't it ??

No doubt it's a strange keyboard. RJ45, legends curiouser than my 122 key Terminal Model M, LED-less and ISO-UK while made in the USA. But I got it for £30, shipping included. So it's worth a shot.

The £30 Model M just arrived and I have got to gloat about it! Seems to be in great shape. No need to clean it up or anything. Wonder why they didn't show off about the condition?
Anyway, this just might be group buy material. So long as you have a Teensy!
