Hmm, you raise some valid points. I always deactivate or delete my old ads when they are no longer relevant but who knows, perhaps this non-german speaker has difficulties trying to navigate a website in a language he doesn't understand.
But if you live in Germany as a non-native speaker, would it be impossible to find someone who can translate english to German for you? Would you use Google translate (I checked, he used Google translate) to sell something in a country whose language you don't speak?
I'm not saying do not trade with him, but rather wanted to advise potential buyers to exercise caution.

I would and have used Google Translate for other sites. Sometimes the market is different from country to country and a seller wants as many opportunities as they can get.

The aforementioned Enigma Research board is almost definitely foam and foil. The key caps, font, metal back plate and "FT[0-9][0-9]" label on the back match many of my foam and foil boards.

I was excited too, but then I saw you can't put KPT switches in Alp keyboards as there are not compatible.

But the caps are ALPS compatible even if there were issues with the switches. International shipping probably puts it out of the "value" range, but if it would have been in the US it would have been a pretty good deal.

I'm the one that asked about that. He sent me a picture of a Keytronic switch.
Edit: Found this in my messages. I hadn't noticed before but it actually says Keytronic on the switch.

Not sure if this will interest anybody else, but I thought I'd post it since I found it interesting at least.

Certainly interesting to me
.
Worth having a look through the sellers other listings as well, there's a Tipro and a Unicomp M as well just on the first page.

And I found a "bigfoot" for a semi-reasonable price:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IBM-Clicky-52 ... 0940844617
Wow, didn't know about the "first board with Browns" thing, but it appears to be true (http://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_MX_Brown). I should read through the whole Wiki sometime
I don't think I'll buy it as I don't need a board like it or more Brown switches, but interesting from a historical perspective.

Well, if you buy it I'll gladly pay you 25 for the browns if they're vintage (to confirm you can compare the colour with the ones from your 5000) and once I actually have some money
