yes, also doubleshot or dyesub of course However dyesub ones are a bit more rare, not to mention that a lot of them are the fake dyesub version (not Cherry made, but TA/Royal molding caps) :/

only the boards with non-Cherry dyesub caps... it isn't the stabs that are different, but the caps that are not Cherry (different molding) so they need different stabs.rddm wrote: ↑Some boards have weird stabs.

Judging from the picture, they seem to be doubleshot, tough i would much prefer the dyesub version :p But yeah I cannot and will not complain xD Also that alternate version with different font, i like it a lot, shame about the stabs, but i like the letters and the color etc.

99% sure they are doubleshot.
I would say the fake dyesub ones are awful... the font is more centered, the symbols are pretty small and overall not as beautiful as the original Cherry helvetica.

Oh man, this one has been up on eBay for so long. I think it'll be a long time before anyone buys it at that price, if even. Now, if it had genuine Alps SKCM Blues, that'd be a different story.
Even though I do hear that Chicony 5181s are a serious downgrade in quality compared to the 5161 models, people have already shown they'd pay up the wazoo for blue alps, regardless of the condition of the board. The KB-5181s do look kinda nice though.
I really want one of those Chicony 5170s with blue Alps. Oh me oh my!

I contacted the seller and asked them to pull a cap to see what color the sliders were, just in case they were "real" blues instead of Monterey. They replied with "What's a slider?" So, I gave them a detailed explanation along with instructions on how properly to pull a cap.
I would actually like the Monterey blues if they had standard Alps pins for mounting in a new PCB/Plate for a custom keyboard. The ad does invite offers, so presumably they would be prepared to come down in price to some degree.

Here's an interesting SAMSUNG-branded vintage. No idea what switches it uses, but it does seem to have nice caps.
I know 1010 is a designation for something in the vintage computing world, but I have no idea what that is. It might give some hints as to what this might have in it, or at the very least, what it was designed for.

Probably Futaba. Made by Se Jin, model EAT-1010 based on the S/N. The key cap font just screams Se Jin as well.
Here's a few pics of one I have with a big enter key, http://imgur.com/a/ZvyJ7 .

A big lot (21) of IBM (mostly buckling spring) typewriters. If somebody from here want to buy it, I am interested in some spare parts from the keyboards.

I've be meaning to post this one, but I keep forgetting!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Sharp-P ... 2518.l4276
AFAIK, these have green Alps and the SKCL compact (half-alps) switches for the reduced-size key caps. The price isn't so bad, and if they accept best offers, even better!
I love grey key caps, so I'm also of the opinion that they are quite nice! I know Rowdy on GH has one of these. High quality doubleshots, it seems.
