That Acorn Electron is beautiful! I don't suppose the keycaps are Cherry-compatible, are they? Shame it's not working or else I'd get it regardless.

1st one is a teensy convert with Oak Linears. 2nd is an unknown quantity that I didn't investigate deeply.

Still skeptical. I've never seen an NMB RT101+ without a stepped caps lock and the shift arrow symbol is wrong. The NMB shift symbol is tall and thin. This one is more IBM like.
Edit: Someone buy it an make me a fool

A better picture from another auction, not that I can tell you what it is, or even if this is even the same?Engicoder wrote: ↑Still skeptical. Yeah, but the main reason it made me laugh is because someone is basically asking 300$ for a speckled case

No. that's an Alps board, you can look it up in the wiki. What you see is the aluminium plate. The price is still ridiculous of course, but did I mention that Alps are hyped to the max at the moment?Crazy Canadian XXIV wrote: ↑Wow, you can even see the rubber sheet between the caps!

I happen to own one of these. The typing experience is less than memorable, but of course that's highly subjective. Let me know if you have any questions I can answer.

I've seen that before! Posted it either here or in the identify the keyboard thread a while ago, can't remember anything about it though, what switches it has etc.Chyros wrote: ↑I have NO IDEA what this is but it looks fairly amazing.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-5-Pin ... Sw-zxWmJtdSpoiler:
I'd dig through the threads to try to find it, but... that's a lot of pages to sort through Maybe tomorrow when I'm not deathly tired.

So tempting to bid on that. I need the switches for a custom alps board. Its just too expensive to ship.
