Please Matt3o, we europeans with ANSI conviction would love the set for ANSI US International, with the alternate keys in red (as in the cyrilic Round1). Our regional symbols are this way more hardware-accesible than software solutions (like textexpander for accents and so). Think about it.

Hi all,
First post, just found this place. I really need 3 sets of Granite! The US Intl AltGr set *3, the Elven set, the various extra sets. I am looking to build at least 3 custom keyboards all the same, then at least 1 Elven keyboard... Damn you Matt! I will need to do a bit of head scratching over exactly what extra's beyond the US Intl AltGr, and the Elven sets.
Elven, hey seriously lets roll up a 65% custom keyboard in elven! I would totally be in for 1 of those, maybe even 2 if I could figure out a way to not get murdered...
---: US Intl. AltGr :: https://zuttobenkyou.wordpress.com/2011 ... rd-layout/
^-- Read the above if you have any questions. This is a truly wonderful keyboard setup. This is THE setup I truly want to make for my 3 (all the same type) custom keyboards. These keyboards are a definite for me. I will keep one for my daily driver, one for my daughter, and one spare. I am leaning towards a slightly modified version of this layout; I simply never use Caps Lock...that real estate could be better utilized IMO. Really pondering 65% Vs. 75% for these. Would very much love to get a GB initiated!
Seriously, if you do the US Intl. AltGr inclusion, I am in for 3 sets + various extra's for them! And that Sindarin is just utterly EPIC! I will have that one alone if i have nothing else from this GB!!
Thank you Matt, for all the hard work!
*Edit* I think Maxmalkav was the first to mention the US Intl. AltGr set.

how do you feel if this time we make the Ergodox kit with ICONS instead of TEXT?!
regarding the US intl. I would need to add a whole new kit and we already have too many. I would have probably made US intl instead of secondary legends, but it's a bit too late now.

unfortunately it's not that simple, we have to allot our spot in their tight schedule.cswanic wrote: ↑What's the rush for Friday? Just let the boyz know we need another week, they'll understand

Ok, will be looking forward to that next project for US Intl. AltGr!
In the mean time, I am in for 2 sets of Sindarin! Now I just need to figure out the support kits for making 2 full up 65% Sindarin boards! Matt3eo, is it too late to flesh out Sindarin a bit more perhaps?

Things like a dedicated Super Key in Sindarin, perhaps symbols for alt, shift, enter etc... that would really fit in with Sindarin and make for a really complete sindarin keyboard. Think 65% type keyboard 100% implemented in / for Tengwar Sindarin. All details considered. I would truly love to be in on a sindarin keyboard design / GB! This key set would make for a nice initial first step!
Thanks matt3eo,

The elven layout (please note that I never reference to it as "elvish" as I never reference to human language as "humanish") is pretty complete, almost all tengwar are represented, all we would miss are funky modifiers, but as Muirium says it's not that we have a sindarin word for each of them, so it would be pretty arbitrary.

Uauuu! May be others out there do not know how to do it. Matt3o, I use textExpander software to combine '+e=é but I need to relly on this software, what method do you use then? Do you create a "Compose key"? How can I do that on Mac? I know it is a little off-topic but it would help me a lot. You know? Learning best practices from you all.matt3o wrote: Re compose key: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compose_key

the mac already has a sort of compose key, not sure how many weird characters you can reach with it, but I'm fine with Italian.
On linux the compose key comes by default (you can assign it to various modifiers or even caps lock), so it's not really a problem. On windows there's a small app that emulates the compose key, should be easy to find.

@matt3eo,
I was just reading through that Tengwar Sendarin key caps / keyboard thread over on Geekhack where you and samwisekoi were working hard on a group buy. You knew precisely what I was talking about when I said 100% fully functional key cap set in Sendarin!
Hey, I truly appreciate all of your hard work here! I am definitely in for 2 sets of Sendarin!

this version is actually simplified so you could easily use it with tengwar TTFs. I hope to be able to make a tutorial about that. Also I'll try to make the red letters smaller for the final version.diriel wrote: ↑@matt3eo,

@matt3eo,
You were wanting to make auerebesh, klingon, and sindarin as a combined group buy?!?! That would kill me! I would literally have to get at least 1 of the aurebesh as a present for my brother, and the klingon + sindarin for myself!
Not trying to derail this thread, so if those things are for another time / GB that's cool too.
