SMK Custom PCB/Chassis?

I absolutely love white clicky SMK cherry mount to death, they just feel amazing to type on. However, anyone who's used a stock SMK board knows they are some of the worst build quality imaginable. I was wondering if there's any custom SMK PCBs available for purchase anywhere or custom chassis or anything like that? I would kill for SMKs in an alps bigfoot chassis for example.

I was only aware of one person selling SMK plates and PCBs and I think they are out of production. The keyboard was called LFK78.
The SMK switches are the same size as cherry and are supposed to fit in cherry plates. It’s possible you could buy a cherry case and plate but would need to create a PCB or hand wire. Here’s nice guide with more info:

Reddit user ca178858was the one selling the SMK parts years ago. There’sa chance you could ask if there’s any still available for sell but your best bet might be experimenting with a cherry plate and case. Best of luck!

I'll try asking them. I have no experience designing PCBs so I dunno where I'd even start with making one (also hand wiring makes my head hurt to think about)thefarside wrote: ↑27 Sep 2022, 00:05I was only aware of one person selling SMK plates and PCBs and I think they are out of production.
