I bought a couple of the Pro Micros with the USB-C connectors, but I haven't used them in a project, yet.
Personally, if I can get the Elite C at $3 to $4 more than a Pro Micro, it's worth it. I like the QMK interface a bit more, even though I haven't used it much.
