The Excalibur SE Spectrum
Tesoro will send a keyboard with its new infrared switches to a lucky winner. That person could deliver a first look at their IR switch technology, which is rumored to be different from other offerings in the market segment. The keyboard itself has programmable RGB backlighting and other gamer oriented features.
Vote in the final round of the Best modern keyboard or company category (Dec. 4 - 10) for a chance at winning an SE Spectrum keyboard!
This prize was kindly provided by Tesoro.
This is a worldwide sweepstakes. To be eligible, you must have a minimum of 10 posts on this site before the vote closes on Saturday 10 December 20:00 UTC. A random winner will be selected and announced soon afterwards. We request that winners review the product(s) that they receive. It isn't mandatory, but it helps the sponsors and the forum. Good luck!

It's a form of optical switch, using an infrared LED. This is necessary since it is backlit and the backlight would interfere with an optical sensor in the visible spectrum.m8max wrote: ↑What's an infrared switch? never heard of it.
