I would like to nominate the BroCaps BBv2.5.
The BroBot was actually the first artisan keycap I ever held in person, it was when I went to meet up with someone I had met through the community - he had a whole RF23U full of them. As an Industrial Designer, I can really respect the amount of effort, precision and repeat-ability evident within a product. I also really appreciate every small detail put into the BroBot too, from the ratios of each element all the way down to the grainy surface finish. The amount of colorways also shows a great amount of creativity from the artist himself.
Also, having first hand experience with working alongside BroCaps, I have high regards with the amount of effort and considerations he puts into his work. Working on the TMX stem alongside with him, we went through around 16 prototypes to get to something we where happy with, even if it was a little change he'd be happy to try it out.
Anyways, here it is!
Apologies for the amount of dust on the cap, poor thing![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif)

Well, I'd like to nominate the "Natural Life" artisan key cap.
It stems from another part of the community of fans of small coloured plastic things,
but still:

Another candidate in my eyes is the "Bull Nose",
which has the advantage that it can be mounted to any switch - you just have to 3D print a stem to insert into the slot.
Plus, of course, it has the scary frown obviously mandatory for figurative artisan key caps:

I just wan't to drop by to say that most artisan keycaps have nothing more in common with actual keyboard caps.
But for 2017 I plan to mold a soft silicone cap in form of a turd.
P.S I love you all

I don't think this is the place for criticism, no matter how lighthearted.
Can we keep it to nominations please?![Mr. Green ](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)

Another great idea! A "ripometer keycap" that has a flat, coin shaped disc with raised outer edges at the top!
It would make ripometer tests so much easier. It's unfortunate that the coin method is so inaccurate.
Edit: the nominations have slowed down, and this is much more fun than simply asking for more.

for me it wasn't ... a great design with lot of potential but lacked the finishing touch. Sorry but I had to say that, pissed on a lot of roses when I said that... me and my big mouth...

I totally understand you, but it's a part of the keyboard hobby if you like it or not ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif)
As photekq already said, this isn't the place to debate if artisan caps are good or not, So I just try to contribute at least something and I think the Jelly Keys are pretty.

Please take it easy, DanielT. Even if the caps aren't as advertised, this isn't the place to chat about it. If you've had issues with cap makers that are worth noting, please take it to The *Ping*.
