Deskthority is transforming itself into a club, so we have a healthy structure to pay for our hosting costs, keep the forum and wiki up into the future, and to conquer the world. Read more about that here.
This is your chance to become a founding member!
We need a small budget for our founding/notary costs, and to support the club's initial budget.
To make a contribution, any amount helps, send a pm to user Phantom with your e-mail address in a single line without any fluff, including spaces! (7bit's order system for the Phantom groupbuy is re-used for this).
Example:
you@deskthority.kbd
or if you want to pay via SEPA transfer to a EUR bank account (which is preferred if no transaction costs are deducted):
you@deskthority.kbd
PAYEUR
You will then receive payment instructions. (Sometimes it takes a while when the bot is lazy)
If you donate 10 EUR/13 USD or more, you get a club membership for a year without additional costs after the club is founded. Thank you for your donations!
The deadline to become a founding member is 30 October 2013, which is the official founding date of the club.

You got 0001 in the first run, because 7bit did not scrapped his script well enough. The typical startup problem.ne0phyte wrote:What do the different membership levels stand for?
EDIT: Also INVOICE #0001
In fact it is 0002, because 7bit got 0001.

I'll take care of the difference between what we receive and what we have to pay to the notary.

I'm feel like I'm missing something here. Must be my lack of groupbuy participation
Sent PM with email...nothing...
Is there some sort of cronjob I have to wait for?

It could be the cronjob requires 7bit to wake up from his beauty nap and kicking some trigger... not sure.

Are there different levels of Plastic Membership? The lowest level being Thin ABS, and the highest being Thick PBT?
I love Office Space. I am a movie prop geek (also), so I have made myself a red Swingline stapler. Nerd fact: The model of the stapler used in the movie was never made in red.

Hmm - is it OK if I just send another PM with the e-mail address that my dt.net one redirects to?
I still don't have the email yet, but I was having trouble with it earlier when I tried to do something on the wiki and webwit PM'ed me about it.
Did anyone else use their deskthority.net re-direct address?

May be a good idea to use something else, I'm getting some erratic behaviour from my dns/domain provider where the mail is forwarded.

I had problems with DT and re-direct addresses, but not with my throw away address sumbitting to my own bot.

Maybe we should sell membership numbers ...
I know 002 wants 0002 and ne0phyte would like to have 0001 and me would be better off with 0007, or more subtile: 0111.

Lucky number 0008 here but willing to swap if it helps other folks get the number they want. The Euros are in the mail.
