ok, we need a proxy and time for a poll.
DE, shipping to here is $60, from DE to rest of the EU is €17 insured or €3.45 uninsured
SE, shipping to here is unknown, from SE to rest of the EU is €24,99
DK, shipping to here is $60, from DK to rest of the EU is €16
HK(Hong Kong), shipping to here is $60, from HK to rest of the EU is €20
My vote goes to DE.

LOL! Shipping to HongKong and back to Europe would not be a good idea.
I think the €16 from DK where uninsured.
The 3.45 refer to just shipping key caps. The complete boards would be better off with 17 EUR insured, or 7 EUR if <1kg.

I still think shipping from DE is the best, although it might not be fair to SE guys.7bit wrote:LOL! Shipping to HongKong and back to Europe would not be a good idea.

The best way would be if the supplier could just send them to each of us, but that is usually not the case, and probably won't be here.
So DE really is the only sensible choice as I see it, even when factored in the shipping from supplier to DE first. Won't shipping be 8,9 EUR from DE uninsured?
EDIT: maybe they would be willing to split the order and ship around half to SE and the rest to DE?

Sending them all to me with Bussgods would be ~25€. Then maybe phetto or huttala can pick there up here or I send them on cheaper domestically. And send the rest off to MBC or someone who distributes the rest. It can't be cheaper for the seller to send more keyboards internationally. We could split the total shipping to make it fair

On the other hand, if the seller can ship them ALL to Danmark or Germany for 60 USD that's an unbeatable price. I can't come near that as far as I know. It just feels stupid to ship them outside the country and back in again. So maybe to Germany (and back)? If the seller won't split and send three directly to us/me in Sweden.

Shipping from Sweden to HK and then back to Sweden is out of the question, LMAO.
I'd say ship everything to one of us swedes and then that person splits the shipping to the other swedes and sends the rest to DK or DE.

I agree but I can't get a reasonable price for shipping 6 keyboard á 1,5 kg? to Germany. Any ideas?huttala wrote:I'd say ship everything to one of us swedes and then that person splits the shipping to the other swedes and sends the rest to DK or DE.

It's Nowegian layout ..tinlong117 wrote:haha,Ekaros wrote:Am I seeing that there is weird demand for "Nordic" layout? ;D
because they are uncommon and rare!
Similar to Danish layout except that Æ and Ø are swapped as are
½ and § ..
Very rare because
A: less than 10 million people use those languages .
B : 2 of the richest countries, we don't clean old keyboards, we just trash them and buy a new one !
(OK - I don't but everybody else seems to)

Since they are shitty keyboards, remove all caps and send just the caps ?tlt wrote:I agree but I can't get a reasonable price for shipping 6 keyboard á 1,5 kg? to Germany. I am with huttala on that one. They are Cherry MY switches, so I don't think people are interested in paying a lot of shipping simply to get an MY board. This ought to bring the weight down. Then again, I wasn't fast enough so I don't really have a vote

By the way, why is this not limited to Nordic people?damorgue wrote:I am with huttala on that one. Why would other EU people benefit from this set since it's not even in their own language?
Feels like we scandinavians should get first dibs on things like this since they are RARE and we have been using german caps just to get something similar to our own keyboards..

Since this is now being shipped from SE, what is the price going to be for just sending the key caps or keycaps and just the case?

My suggestion is that I calculate the total cost of shipping key caps to everyone and we split that cost evenly. If someone wants a case or the whole board they can pay the extra cost to get it. How does that sound?
