Assuming this has been asked before, but it's unclear from the diagrams and this thread's turning into an epic, so I will dare to anger 7bit once again:
What rows are the cursor keys in the kits with just one set, like TENKLESS/RED etc.? Are they really row 4 up and row 3 left, down, right as the diagrams imply? My best guess is all row 3.
I'm thinking of a full set of white alphas and red alphas, and there's a ton of ways to get there, so I'm weighing up the details.

That row 4 FN key…
Would be most appreciated on its own, or in the FUNCTION/RED kit in the appropriate colour! (A row 3 FUN key is another most wanted of mine.)

I would have thought that the fn key is row3, so it doesn't look strange next to the row3 shiftMuirium wrote:That row 4 FN key…

I expect you're right. The good news about row 2 Tab and Backslash / Backspace is giving me big ideas that could be unrealistic.

7 bit, have you ever thought about splitting the cursor kit between symbol and the other to avoid buying them twice. I need only symbol (7 grey, 1 red and 1 black).
Thank you
Thank you

Few quick questions about HONEY/ERGO:
- How many keys are there? 76, or 82?
- Do "alpha" keys have nubs/dishes on F/J positions?
- What would be the best way to combine the ErgoDox set and Colemak?

Thanks a lot for adding 4.5x space bar.
It would perfectly complete a 60% keyboard with arrow keys (e.g. KBT Pure Pro, etc.) if the below keys are added.
- Row 2 / DELETE / 1x1.5 / Gray
- Row 4 / CTRL / 1x1 / Gray
This will be blessing for many users who will buy Tenkeyless kit and also have this type of 60% keyboards.

Unfortunately, I can't go through the whole thread. Please, if anyone can answer...

- Count them.
- Nope. Neither. He indicates those with outlines on the diagrams.
- what you see is what you get: blanks. For a version with legends, I would look at one of the other ErgoDox base sets and add the appropriate alphas.

Be sure to check all the keys you need. I don't Colemak, so I'm not fluent in its rows.
These are all on the (dazzlingly long) Wiki:

Thanks. If I understand it correctly, there's no way to mix sets... in other words, I'd have to get some keycaps that I'd probably never use. (And I wasn't sure what the extra six keycaps were for in HONEY/ERGO.)
I guess I'll order just HONEY/ERGO and 2×BLANK/R3U100D then...

Hi 7bit,
This is my very first group buy (I was directed here by some very enthusiastic fans of 7bit on geekhack: Halvar/Elrick).
Can you help me put together a minimal set that will work any of the keyboards below with MX reds?
1. 87 TKL Filco
2. 104 Filco
3. ergodox
4. HHKB pro 2 (not sure if this set is possible with Topre: if not possible or requires a lot of modding, please skip)
I appreciate any help you can throw my way!

The Filcos should be easy. Are you ANSI or ISO? (Is your return key rectangular or L shaped.) Are you looking to cover both boards simultaneously? And how do you like RED?
The Ergodox depends on how much you like blanks. Look a few posts above.
And HHKB = Topre = nope.
