The opposite, row 4 UP / row 2 DOWN doesn't feel great at all. Guess I'm after a concave arrow cluster, not convex.
Looking at the
poll topic, row 2 UP as an option was much more popular than row 4 UP with row 2 everything else.
kvad's great post was clear about this:

This is row 4 UP and row 2 DOWN ;D
Someone then stepped in to explain all:

Ok, I get how this works with the thumb like this - the difference in the heights becomes an advantage. Hm, if you keep a digit over UP while moving left then right, does this technique make you good at wiggling your thumb?

That's a G80-8200, right? So you need an 1U Num+ and a regular 2U NumEnter. Regular as in "1switch mount + 2 stabs mount". I'm not into this GB but I guess all the POS keys have the mount for POS matrizes as in "1Switch mount per 1U". Guess is, regular vertical 2U keys are your only way to go.
Thanks for that! So I'll use a normal Enter, then if I do want a 2u + I'll need a POS key and to disable one of the switches. I just can't decide if I want to do that or go with 1u for the rest - for me the lack of a 2u + is the most annoying thing about 122 layouts.
