Never mind, math is obviously not my strong suit. The per-item cost is cheaper, based on the number I've ordered.Greystoke wrote:These asterisk numbers show up by single keys I've ordered, like the BLANK/R3U100D/GREY, which has a *2. If I'm reading the discount correctly, I should be paying 80% of the list price if I order three units. I've ordered three units, but the extended price is just three times list. What am I missing?Muirium wrote:Discounts available for multiple orders. As it says later in your invoice:

Naturally, the only thing I have more than a single order for is the MUIRIUM kit of multi colour blanks, so no discounts for me.

I think I understand why some people want the key so bad. They figure if they have that key, they can finally touch "boobs" without assault charges filed.panpipe wrote:Well it's definitely not a serious keycap.matt3o wrote:I sincerely hope this boobs key is just a joke.
Maybe 7bit should just hide the key in an unpopular kit and watch that kit skyrocket.

btw, has anyone figured out the sets needed for a Kinesis layout?
on gh http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=23446.390, I see a posting of a breakdown (towards the end of that page, there is a chart), but I'm afraid to get this to match out with Round 5 would take a computer program to figure out...

Obviously.
Should you be shocked by the high PayPal fees, just send PAYEUR to get back to normal.
Please keep in mind that PayPal doesn't offer you 1:1.36 exchange rate!

Or a sufficiently helpful-feeling human who has some familiarity with the kits...kfmfe04 wrote:btw, has anyone figured out the sets needed for a Kinesis layout?

The range of keys in Round 5 allows quite a lot of this to be done as shown. All the 1.25 mods are available as are the row 4 cursor keys. However the 1.25 punctuation and the other unusual row 4 keys aren't available, and 2 unit keys aren't available in row 4, only in the steep row 1 or the symmetric row 3. The blank availability though is enough to make up the layout.
To cover the pictured layout, I would go for something like this:
HONEY/ALPHA 1 - Covers the two 5x3 alpha blocks, change for language as applicable
HONEY/NUMROW/WHITE 1 - For the row 1 numbers, also includes row 2 [ and ] keys that can mounted upside down to be the row 4 [ and ]
HONEY/MODEXTRA125 1 - For the 1.25 Tab and Caps Lock
HONEY/SHIFT125 2 - Self explanatory
HONEY/CURSOR/R4 1 - All the row 4 cursor keys!
HONEY/MOD100 1 - For the single unit Ctrls
HONEY/MODEXTRA100 1 - For the single unit Alts
HONEY/CURSORBASE 1 - Home, End, Page Up and Page Down in their standard rows
Additional required blanks:
BLANK/R3U125/GREY 4 - This includes 2 for row 1 - row 1 1.25 blanks aren't available
BLANK/R2U100/GREY 4 - Equal to and used as row 4 keys (deduct 2 if using the row 2 [ and ] keys from NUMROW/WHITE or option 2)
BLANK/R3U200/GREY 4 - (deduct 1 if using option 1b)
Options:
1a HONEY/NUMNUM/WHITE 1 - Gets you the row 2 "8" key, but no "3" is available (you could have an upside down "3" by using the "3" key in this kit)
1b HONEY/NUMPAD 1 - Same as above but also gets you a row 3 2u Enter
2 HONEY/7BIT 1 - This has two grey row 2 curly bracket keys, which could be used an alternative to the [ and ] in NUMROW/WHITE

Okay, then I won't, just a bit odd because I'm 100% sure I transfered the full remaining amount in dollars (guess my bank has stolen some of my money, again)7bit wrote:Thanks!

LOL! I know you paid $1.99 via SEPA which had been turned into EUR. I doubt it was a real USD transfer, becuase usually you have to pay exchange fees for that.
On the other side, I can only account the EUR amount that arrived here and aply my rounded exchange rate of 1:1.36.
BTW: If you had paid 1.47 EUR, you would have 0.01 EUR to use up on more keys.
=> No change for you to ever pay the exact sum!!!
