Well, I feel stupid now.
A colleague just brought me 2 old Cherry boards that he was hoarding (a G80-1000 HAD with doubleshots and Serial No. A21 -> from '88 and a newer G80-3000 from'97), and now I don't feel a big need for the LANCH anymore.
So if someone else wants to take over for me, I'll gladly step aside but if not, I'll of course stay true to my word and take one.

What do you guys think about shipping? Is it enough if I wrap the boxes in wrapping paper and send them or do we need a separate box to cover the peacock boxes?
I would ship orders with two boards in a several box.

Ok, I just checked some options. We go for boxes. That will add about 1€ on top of the shipping costs, but then everybody should get his stuff undamaged. Hope everybody is ok with that.
I will start to collect money tomorrow.

I was thinking that snoopy will keep a keyboard for himself, in which case perhaps he could already "peek under feathers" :p

Sorry, I'm currently a bit lazy (and ill)... But like already said, these are normal G81. There's nothing "peacock-special". I bet there is a thread about that G81 problem somewhere on DT.Laser wrote:Thanks! Have fun mounting the G81 caps on your G80 or other MX boards... ain't gonna happen
Those g81 are pure evil, worst switches I ever used and only god knows why they put the stems on the Row0 like that:

( @snoopy - get your lost bit of health back )
A-ha, some of the (white) PCB and stem positions can be seen in the UPPER part of this pic (one can compare with cherry mx positions in the PCB from the case):

@Laser. Those positions are normal, since that G81 board had 1.5 mods. G81 boards with 1.5 mods have REGULAR stem positions, however G81 boards with 1.25 mods have IRREGULAR stem positions.
I recently saw a picture of an off center 1.25 mod, but I can't find it.
