I would love to have them red, but it's a bit risky. Black is a safe bet, but if SP tells me that red comes good on dark gray I'm all in

The Amiga mods really should be dark grey, nobody would use them if they are alpha white!
I would love them in a red font but it really comes down to what is possible, if they can only do a dark red legend, it might look out of place with the lighter RGB mods, blue Enter, red Esc and/or blue Alt Gr legends.

some quick and dirty rendering :
My Cherry G80-3000 mod a simple board to use in some us qwerty environments (ie. some games using SDL, Linux system request keys, cubieboard access without ssh) I was bored to have a single AltGr and some keys too far to reach easily. Not my favourite board but she deserves a nice set of caps too.
My always mutating ergo board project Vorsicht, a brainfuck BÉPO layout on a weird keyboard ! I have still not printed the scheme to test this new version, columns are placed to follow my fingers' natural movements, so it's theoretical but with a lot of observation (long session to look my hands like a stoned guy). The layout is the one I use on my Tipro but the matrix is very limiting. Some keys are missing (the 1.5u and enter 1u) so they will be blank.
The nerdom keys will populate those boards but I don't think where I'll place them.
I didn't use this online editor before, it's a nice tool but Inkscape stays my favourite.

I'll push the monolegend as much as I can and try to have it manufactured anyway. But I'm not wasting my time finalizing the legends for the international mono considering the lack of interest.kbdfr wrote:Mono Legend International: still only me

Refuelling my account is in process but banks doesn't work on Saturday (lazy Frenchies )
I'm a bit sad that Pro kits don't reach the 50 orders yet, wait and see. Sad too for the few interest of Windowed : As I'm unemployed, I can't really support it without making compromises
Angry that all the effort for the Mono kits aren't rewarding : Come on modders of crazy layouts as me, you know it's perfect ! I made a lot to spread the news on bépo community but seems pointless.
I don't know what legend really needs kbdfr on the Mono Intl but if we are the only buyers, maybe we could change some (I still be glad to have a Ê key back in, so does the Maltron guy I proxy) or even reduce their number to reduce prices. I'm ready to buy extra kits to reach the lowest MOQ.

My coming payday is going to be make or break. Can I stretch to the whole order that I want? How much cursing will erupt when I realise what I can't? Tune in for the season finale!

seems it's kbdfr :
I think I still can make compromise and sacrifice my G80-3000 set or maybe using the cyrillic instead of a base set (estimated shipping are lowest, I send an email to SP this morning about the miscalculation)kbdfr wrote:Mono Legend International: still only me

But Cyrillic isn't a 100% replacement for the base set. By design! I agree that the shipping hinging on the common kit so heavily is a problem. It leads the cunning ones like us in the wrong direction…
International Mono is alongside the windowed kit as my stretch goal. Still to see how much I'll have left to spend on this set next week, see. It's tight.

if we can find an agreement with all intl mono legend buyers we could make it an uber-customized kit with only the keys needed by 10-11 people (including NEXT and SGI logo for example).

Huge thanks to you Matteo to consider it, I would understand if you said that you already spent too much time for us.
Yes Cyrillic in my case lacks the F row since I wont use the numrow of the base kits I'll still order. But I already have to make compromises just not to order two full modifier kits to have print scroll lock and del for my future prototypes. I can still try the aftermarket to have those from 70 and 60% owners : I'll have some unique nerdom keys to tradeMuirium wrote:But Cyrillic isn't a 100% replacement for the base set. By design! It's tight to me too I wondered why only kbdfr ordered Mono intl since the adoration you have for the μ keyInternational Mono is alongside the windowed kit as my stretch goal. Still to see how much I'll have left to spend on this set next week, see. It's tight.

Kbdfr said he was buying it for section break § too; and º and €. Actually, here's his post:

I'll happily take those keys.

For me, it's related to bépo : É, È, À, Ç and the missing Ê All the other legend I need are already in the main Mono kit.
If I could have an ENTER 1unit key (the other Tipro users may agreed) and « » (at least only one if feasible) It will be great too but I won't be too greedy.
I suppose kbdfr may want to build an azerty set (oder ein qwertz Tastatur, ich weiß es nicht.) We need to wait for him.
