Indeed we do.

But these Topre boards don't need it: all the insides open up when you unscrew the case. Plate cutouts are necessary for MX switches only!

that would be something, but highly unlikely.luckynet2 wrote:i'm curious as is it possible to have CM change the plate design of their mechanical keyboards so as to facilitate the ability to remove the top covers of the cherry switches without desoldering it. or will it increase production cost etc. we have the technology

Ahem.
http://deskthority.net/wiki/Membrane_vs_rubber_dome
To be honest, I think "mechanical" is a dumb term. Shitty cheap domes are just as mechanical as the next switch in the general "moving parts" sense. And the term is starting to see mainstream use that way. I've heard plenty of iPad keyboards called "mechanical" just because their scissor switches have moving keys. It seems to be turning into anything with any physical feedback at all now. Any hardware keyboard will do…

DSA Dolch available here, folks:matt3o wrote:And here's my novatouch!

I ordered one up just now. My first attempt failed because, apparently, someone thought the $55 price was good enough that they tried to order SP's entire stock in one shot! But it's open again now, so get in there if you want 'em.
Wonder how well it mixes with PBT Granite? It'll need to, on my ISO boards. More wanted caps coming up in the Granite trades…

I am intrigued.SP wrote:Last year we at SP jumped the gun in producing an order for which we never received payment. As a result we are left with a large quantity of DSA Dolch keycap sets that we want to make available.
And probably $55 lighter...

6.25 I assume? (7x1.5U mod's on bottom row = 6.25U?)

If I order. I mean where is the doubt, where is the uncertainty, where is the missing IBM thinkpad charger?
I order and I receive it, I am not sure I could cope?
