Ooh, the suspense. I'll be sure to tune in next week.
I went overboard and tried out various ideas, some more succesful than others.

It's good that you can get them split, but on R5 the entire ergodox set was $55. On R5a the two pieces together come to $94.facetsesame wrote: I think the kits are split for maximum flexibility, the options are even wider this time!
The costs I think are down to volume - both number of keys and scale of $$$. Hopefully there's some MOQ shortfall in thereAnd don't forget the winter sale, 25% rebate on payments until Tuesday.
How does the 25% off work?
Ahh that explains it, thanks!Halvar wrote: You pay $75 and get a "deposit" of $100 for that. If the caps you ordered cost $100, you have a balance of $0. If the price of your sets drops to $90, you have a balance of +$10 that you can spend on more caps, or you can get a refund.
I'm not sure but I figure that if you choose the refund you would get $7.50 (75% of +$10).
Just the one? We'll see!
Then we would have to adhere to FIRM DEADLINES....
You mean this one? There's a significant error in it - the cream nav keys aren't available.
Hi! The Round 5 buy, 7bit's bot system (and this topic) predate the creation of SP's PMK group buy system. With everything already in place to run Round 5a/HONEYB, and the ability to pair up new kits with existing leftovers (not to mention MX switches and everything else 7bit has in stock), it seems like a natural fit.
Get the function set!
7bit won't split the kits, but you could split it with someone, or just trade or sell it afterwards.RadikulRAM wrote: Hey guys, I noticed on the "HONEYB/CONTROL175/RED" set link http://deskthority.net/w/images/9/91/HO ... 75_RED.png we get two Control keys for $5. Is there a way to request only one?
