Think that was the Trash 80 I used as my first computer as a kid (when it was already donkey's years old). Horrible computer! The Vic=20 was such an upgrade! As for the keyboard, meanwhile, well I assume random ass linear with doubleshot sphericals. Maybe waffle frame what's names?

Speaking of first computers used as a kid. Here in Romania, one of the major industries in the later communist years was developing and building computers (called Felix) with licences and collaborations from all over the place (FRIDEN, CII, AMPEX, PERTEC, DATA PRODUCTS, CENTRONICS, IBM, ADVANTECH, SUN etc). The first computer I have ever played on was in a factory, in my dad's office and I remember it had a keyboard very similar to these ones (the ads are from a local Romanian classifieds site):

Anyway, I have been playing with the idea of getting them out of sheer curiosity and to see if the feeling of them brings something to memory. Still undecided though

It's cream ALPS SKCC ("vintage T"). The listed keyboard is obviously yellowed.

I have similar reminiscence about my "Trash 80", the Colour Computer II. I wish I had an Atari 800XL instead.

That seller has had most of that for sale before. That second one from the top is Micro Switch. I think Nuum wanted that a some point . I've written him a message now with an offer. If he's reasonable I'll buy those if no one else takes them before me. There is an Olivetti on the left too. The keycaps on those should be really nice.

If I am not mistaken, that Olivetti is an ANK 25-101, which, according to the Wiki, is a rubber dome (a good one though)

They are very nice and interesting, but not really my cup of tea (I don't have the space for them anyway )

Bad is the problem! Aren't a lot of the vintage switch types out there quite poor? Caps had already achieved amazing standards compared to today, but switches blossomed a bit later, besides for IBM.

Depends what you consider "poor". I'd still say that one of my favorite switches are those linear green stems in my Micro Switch from 1976. Cherry MX feels like crap compared to that. IBM Capacitive is still the gold standard for me. Sure, those strange unmarked Clare Pendars in that old kit keyboard of mine don't feel that great. So yes there are "poor" old ones. But there are pure gold old ones also. Anyway I bought that lot so we'll see. There is one Micro Switch in that lot. No idea what the rest is. I'm pretty sure some of those keycaps will be very nice.

It's a fun thing to me, not a bad thing. Not to be taken too seriously either. The truth is I would love to be a Beamspring snob, but I can't get no satisfaction in that way since it's unobtanium. And then Cindy's bad news.

That's good to hear (again). Eventhough I never partake in those GB's I know Matteo's work is important. I buy the original vintage caps instead.

Not necessarily. I will sometimes include stock photos so that the buyer knows exactly what they are bidding on. Many buyers think the description is for chumps apparently.

The item is NIB, so a stock photo would be fine if it was an auction on ebay. But ebay Kleinanzeigen (classifieds) is different. I wouldn't buy it over ebay Kleinanzeigen except if I could pick it up personally.
