I'd need some help on this please
BLOOD/TENKLESS
No space bar, becuase there is no Noppoo space bar in SP's repertoire.
Black on red modifiers are currently not available ...
4 questions:
- is it compatible with KBC Poker?
- If I order the full standard set will it include at least the same keys as the tenkeyless?
- any style to specify for this blood red one?
- is white on red set or modifiers available?

What profile are the SPACETIPRO and SPACE7BIT keys?
Are they rounded on top, like a wide space bar, or slanting fowards like an <Alt> key?

i have just done sending the pm to 7bit_r4 abour SPH/RGBY. =X
btw, will symbot kit set happanes to be cheaper ?
$35 USD for 12 keys are kinda steep for me..
might cancel the symbol kit and go for additional set of SPH/STANDARD or Tenkeyless.
and also include a SPH Modifier kit.
can i edit after the final pricing is announced? will add alot more stuff if price is much more cheaper than expected.
added:
btw, i notice this
Space bars for SA-family (SPH style):
SPACEUNI 7 units (SA-family only!) for diverse Cherry keyboards
SPACE 6.25 units, 118mm wide, 6 keymounts for Filco/Cherry/Leopold
SPACETIPRO 4 units (SA-family only!) for Tipro keyboards
SPACE7BIT 1.5 units blank, 1.5 units 'SPACE', 1 units blank, 1 units 'SPACE' (4 keys)
do this mean SPH Style Spacebar 6.25 unit can fit both filco and Leopold keyboard?
if that's true, my current order are this.
SPH/SPACE |6.25 units Filco/Cherry | 2.00| 1| 1| 2.00
SPH/SPACELEO |6.25 units Leopold | 3.00| 1| 1| 3.00
i should remove SPH/SPACELEO and order additional SPH/SPACE ?

You can add and remove items until we start collecting money. Then you can only add more stuffCyclonechuah wrote: can i edit after the final pricing is announced? will add alot more stuff if price is much more cheaper than expected.
If you hold off right now and wait for prices to be lower, you can wait forever. They will be more expensive than if you would just order anything you want.
Yes, the SPH/SPACE is for Cherry, Filco and Leopold.Cyclonechuah wrote:added:

I haven't followed this Group Buy 4 but will I receive my corrected Keycaps from GB3 some day?
I mean I want my Control for the Caps Lock position with the stem centered and not what SP sent to us... and well other keycaps too, we paid for them.
What can we do with our GB3 funds we did not spend? I got 21$ that should buy something. Will go into looking for single keycaps, maybe they can be send in a padded envelopment.

You will get your replacements. If you ordered some stuff in RCT's Novelty Doubleshot Group Buy maybe he can ship them along with your other key caps.guilleguillaume wrote:I haven't followed this Group Buy 4 but will I receive my corrected Keycaps from GB3 some day?

No answer.Soarer wrote:NOW that Melissa has agreed to redo the faulty keys AND there is someone to distribute round4 keys AND I've agreed to pay for the shipping of my keys from whoever that might be...

Getting ANY information from him is like getting blood from a stone.
It's been many months now, and he's made ABSOLUTELY ZERO EFFORT to even think about sorting out the mistakes.
You know this is just a glib remark...7bit wrote:If you ordered some stuff in RCT's Novelty Doubleshot Group Buy maybe he can ship them along with your other key caps.
How can RCT ship them when you haven't got SP to make them yet?
Who organises this with RCT?
Who pays for shipping?
I'd wager you haven't contacted RCT about it at all...
I KNOW you didn't contact KL when you gave a similar glib remark to me about KL's group buy.

These mistakes are not my mistakes!
These had been done mainly by SP and caused the problem that we have to pay for shipping by ourselves because iMav was incapable to take pictures, so I had to wait for all keys to be delivered until I knew what went wrong.

@Soarer, i know i shouldn't be joining this conversation mess.
But shouldn't you pay shipping fee directly to melissa and had melissa send the replacement directly to you?
no offense, but i think it's a watse of money for melissa to send to 7bit, and then from 7bit to you.(you're the that pay two times the shipping fee)
melissa are the one that supplies the replacement keycap, and they are the one that are responsible for sending the keycaps to you.

Having spent thousands of dollars on behalf of people, you DO have responsibility.
What makes me really mad is not the mistakes by SP, it's the constant excuses and brush-offs. Even lies.
It IS your mistake to glibly say they can be shipped along with XXX's group buy, when you know you're only saying it hoping the people complaining will just go away.
It IS your mistake to not try to think of ways to resolve this.
And it IS your mistake to ignore valid questions and complaints!

We simply ran out of money on Round 3, because there were more extra shipments than planned.
So I will not pay for the shipping.
I've asked RCT and he did say if it is not too much work he will ship those keys.
I'm missing keys too and maybe more than anyone else.
I've sent off some space bars, a complete POS kit and some other keys at my own costs.

I already said I would pay for shipping my keys... THREE MONTHS AGO, on the 23rd of August!!!!
And reminded you of that again 6 weeks ago, on the 14th October!!!
I suspect others would pay too, IF they had the opportunity.
You're the one who can make it possible.
Tell Melissa to make the goddamn keys already.

I realize it sucks if SP fucked something up and it isn't satisfactory corrected, but you should also realize that 7bit puts in a tremendous amount of effort into the group buys, as a volunteer, not a commercial entity. You shouldn't treat him like some sort of evil shop which is only after your money, and talk like you're fighting with some kind of complaint department. The problem with this is that it leaves the question why people should volunteer for group buys at all, as they'd risk becoming the complaint department and responsible for the final product.

Webwit, I do not intend to belittle the effort that was put in, at all. I have not been treating it like a fight with a complaints department. I'm sorry, but I can't go complaining to SP, or doing anything myself - since 7bit is our representative, I have to try and work things out with him. I've been trying for months now to try and work something out with him that solves all the problems (such as who does what when to get the fixed keys to people) - you can read the last few pages of the Round 3 thread on GH to see what's led up to this. But I have to say 7bit's attitude has been totally uncooperative, and I don't think that is befitting of someone running a group buy. 7 bit has repeatedly made excuses as if something might get done if a particular problem were solved, but when a solution is offered there's either another excuse or simply nothing.
Organising a group buy does bring with it responsibility - at least to act honourably as an agent of the buyers.

Never thought such a question would cause this mess
I don't see myself buying from this kind of big Group Buy anymore I think and not for 7bit fault, just because we have to wait a lot fo time, pay a lot of money and we still have to deal with errors on the keycaps.

I seriously don't understand what does it mean. If everybody paid their invoices there should not be these kind of problems so this makes me wonder why on Geekhack I never took and aswer when I asked ( like 10 times) about me being able to spend my 21$ in single keycaps from the monthly GH keycap...maybe this money doesn't exist anymore? We simply ran out of money on Round 3, because there were more extra shipments than planned.

Had to be quick. I got my refund directly from iMav well BEFORE he started shipping.
I had a feeling the shipping costs would be higher than expected.
I'd like replacements for the misprinted Awesome and reversed Reddit LOD keys too but am willing to let it go and give Soarer my place in the line. I'm ordering 150 of the fucking things in another group buy anyway. And Soarer is definitely more pissed than I am.
Never did find out how you reverse a fucking Unicode image.

There where a lot of extra shipments, because there where so many keys sent off to the wrong person. iMav had all the work and I surely can't tell him to do additonal shippments at his own expense.guilleguillaume wrote:I seriously don't understand what does it mean. If someone has money left it can be used in Round 4, or send me a message and I make sure you get the money back if you don't want to order any more keys.

OK, RCT will do the shippping.
