per definitionem a majority in Parliament, their law proposals are always accepted, so no risk except hypothetically losing votes in the next election (but certainly not decisively because of a certain law).
It is true that EU Commissioners have to fear little to no personal consequences, but who cares as long as their law proposals can be rejected by the European Parliament?
