No, but I will include your address in the invoice I will send out next week, once we've got the definitive prices for switches.mintberryminuscrunch wrote:is there a confirmation email after sending my address?

So what's the status on the cases, exactly? The list on GH still shows them on the order options list, but it looks like 7bit is saying they're not available on this thread...also, I read through the last few pages, but it's not quite clear which stabilizers (Cherry or Costar) will come with the kits. Also curious if the Dark Gray switches (to go with Red and Black switches) are available.

Case: not available, will be removed from invoice if ordered previously
Stabilizers: most likely Costar for 2x and 6.25x. For 7x, also Costar, but yours truly will be bending 7x stabilizer bars. Totally dreading the work of bending 40 or them...
Grey switch: not on the price list on 7bit's Phantom wiki http://deskthority.net/wiki/Phantom. 7bit?

Kits include the following:
1 PCB (includes 2 white LEDs and2 resistors)
1 Plate
1 Teensy (includes 1 40-pin pin header)
100 switches
100 diodes
4 2x stabilizers for ANSI or 3 2x stabilizers for ISO or 0 for PH7BIT
1 7x or 1 6.25x stabilizer set for spacebar or 0 for PH7BIT
Pricing will be the same as if you order them separately. Finally pricing is not completely locked yet. 7bit will adjust pricing in his script later when we finalize it.

Excellent info. Time to get my soldering skills warmed up since I'm going to be doing 2 of these keyboards.litster wrote:Case: not available, will be removed from invoice if ordered previously

7bit: did you see this question? I just want to confirm whether the GRAY and DARK GRAY switches are available. If not through this group buy, then if anyone can point me to a good source where I can order just 2 of each, for reasonable prices, then I'd appreciate it.litster wrote:Grey switch: not on the price list on 7bit's Phantom wiki http://deskthority.net/wiki/Phantom. 7bit?

I've removed them before I discovered that grey switch (grey 39 MX1A-D1NN) thread on GH. I will add them again and price will be $0.8 to $0.6 depending on quantity.
Which is MXGREY and which MXDARKGREY ????

MXGREY is tactile and used with browns and clears
MXDARKGREY is linear and used with blacks and reds
Not sure if that helps clear up the confusion with the ordering.

I received an invoice that included a price for MX Greens. Does this mean a source has been found for these? I'm wondering because if they can't be found for less than 1eur each, then I will just change my order to Blues.

Just got my invoice. It didn't have the MXGREY or MXDARKGREY on there yet (but I assume you haven't had time to update it to include those yet). However, it also didn't have the PHANTOMMOD150. Is that still available?

I only have:
MXGREY MX1A-D1NN
This is the switch from the GH thread.

Currently, they are at 0.6 EUR (or $0.8).digitalleftovers wrote:I received an invoice that included a price for MX Greens. Does this mean a source has been found for these? I'm wondering because if they can't be found for less than 1eur each, then I will just change my order to Blues.
If there are at least 900 switches ordered, proce will get down to 0.45 EUR (or $0.6).

I've moved these over to the Round 4 key caps group buy. There is no way I will have the key caps when all the switches, PCBs, plates etc. arrive.gimpster wrote:Just got my invoice. The GH Cherry MX Switch wiki lists the GREY (aka "light" grey) as the MX1A-D and the DARKGREY as the MX1A-2.7bit wrote:I need Cherry product codes for both.gimpster wrote:MXGREY is tactile and used with browns and clears

Not sure if that helps clear up the confusion with the ordering.
I only have:
MXGREY MX1A-D1NN
This is the switch from the GH thread.
Cross-referencing that with the Cherry Corp site (scroll to the bottom) confirms the remaining part numbers ("1NN") as specifying a standard, no LED, no diode, no pins key switch. So, that means the part numbers should be:
GREY: MX1A-D1NN
DARKGREY: MX1A-21NN
That brings up a question I saw asked elsewhere in one of these threads but didn't see an answer to: will this PCB support using LED key switches if we wish? I'd kind of like to do one of mine with LEDs if possible...

There are LED soldering pads for in-switch LEDs for Capslock and Scroll Lock switch locations only.gimpster wrote:That brings up a question I saw asked elsewhere in one of these threads but didn't see an answer to: will this PCB support using LED key switches if we wish? Good to know, thanks Lit. At least that saves me the trouble of trying to find double-shot clear caps...litster wrote:There are LED soldering pads for in-switch LEDs for Capslock and Scroll Lock switch locations only.gimpster wrote:That brings up a question I saw asked elsewhere in one of these threads but didn't see an answer to: will this PCB support using LED key switches if we wish? While there may not be soldering pads at other locations, conceivably, I could just run wiring to them, right? Not sure how feasible that is for more than a couple of switches, but it shouldn't be impossible. Maybe glue a little pad down there or something.litster wrote:

Here is picture of the backside of the PCB, with interesting areas highlighted. I also highlighted diode locations that are no the same as the majority ones. Need to make sure your diodes are at the right polarity. Check it out.
