it probably makes some people cringe but i stopped desoldering the diodes/jumpers on Cherry boards, just the actualy legs. Then bend them up and cut the diodes with a slim wire cutter. Easily saves me 10 minutes per board ...

Thanks again, Menuhin! Here are a few (much better) pictures with the new blockers installed, looks so much cleaner. They are almost flush with the case. The dust speckles everywhere are so hard to get rid of on black keycapsMenuhin wrote: ↑For me, I tried a couple of them on my Tipro, and the Tipro will 'scream' like a siren and won't work when they are installed. I'm still trying to find a way to disable them in Tipro's program because obviously just blank-out them (i.e. assigning nothing to these keys that I will put blockers on) does not work on a Tipro.
I don't have a lot of these SP black colored blockers (I ordered them from SP, not getting them from a used Tipro), but you can PM me your mail address just in case, I can definitely still help to make your Phantom look more complete and handsome (if these blockers really can).
Sorry for posting pictures of the same board again, but the previous pics were too bad, also I wanted to thank Menuhin this way.
You could just swap out the locking switch for a regular SKCC switch, if the different stem height is the problem here. Those caps really look awesome!Orpheo wrote: ↑Someone is willing to let me have a M0110 to use them? I think there will be a problem with caps lock stem though...

Continuing on Nuum's WoB:
This was originally DanielT's board and as he doesn't like beige keycaps (it's been dressed up in beige ever since I got it from him), I decided it was time to pay homage to the boards original builder and put something he'd fancy on it. It's a little unfortunate that the plate and accent caps aren't closer to each other color wise, but it really doesn't look any better with GMK purple on it.
This is my first WoB set and I've come to like it a lot, but beige is still where my heart's at.

Damn!!!! This board looks amazing Khers! And the WoB caps are spot-on, I just love it
I plan on a full WoB build too, just need the damn Icon Mods, the package is in the way from Germany since last year, almost 20 days I hope it doesn't get lost.
Anyway love the board! Thanks for this

Sadly there are only compatible with the older ALPS switches in the first Apple M0110 keyboards. I showed them on my M0120P. I would like to mount them on a M0110 for sure but there are two issue. I need to change the caps lock swith for a regular one. And the biggest problem is the 1.5u keys, they have two stem support so it's not centered like on the apple!
I need to think a way to do that! Also it seems the computer Sharp MZ731 is pretty rare so I don't want to butcher the 1.5u mods.

What a pity, I don't know the distinction between MZ731 and MZ700,but we have some 700s over here in China, not that rare IMHO.

Received this from MassDrop a couple of days ago: IKBC MF108 with MX red switches and Round 6 keycaps. This is the model with the CNC aluminum case. It is quite heavy.

My current pair:
My first mech, bought from Amazon. MagicForce 68. This is the silver model with white backlighting and Cherry MX Brown switches. I didn't like the standard white caps so bought this cheap set of TaiHao PBT caps in black / grey / purple. I think they have that anti-biosis (sp) coating but I don't really mind, they feel good enough. I take this to work most days as it's inexpensive and relatively quiet.
My second mech, KBParadise V60. I wanted a 60%, and something louder / heavier. Took a chance of the Matias Alps-clones and really like them. Lovely sharp tactile feel, nice and loud, although too much to use in an office. This came with the 'vintage' caps which although not bad, aren't my style. I bought these TaiHao Dolch-reps from a Reddit user in Australia for a good price. I might track down the Olivette version too just to have spare, but I have a set of Alpine Winter DCS on the way to me which I'm looking forward to. I also want to explore the possibility of swapping to an aluminium case.

Nice KBP V60. I have one with Matias tactile switches and the same Tai Hao Dolch keyset (+ a red Esc key from SP). Your upgrade plan is an excellent one. I plan to upgrade mine with LightCycle DSA and a black Lambo case.

Awesome! Yeah it was a choice between the Pok3r which I kinda preferred, or the KBP with an untested switch. Definitely worth it though.
I saw the group buy for the next LightCycle set - March it opens I believe? That'll be worth joining for sure. Be interested to see how you get on with the case swap too, my understanding is only 1 - perhaps 2 - case mounts can actually be used with this PCB?

Really very nice, Daniel. Best utilization of bluegaloo I've seen yet. Your daughter is fortunate to have such a nice keyboard to type on (and such a nice layout to boot)!DanielT wrote: ↑Cherry WoB, Bluegaloo Mods, Dolch PCB and Raptor K1 case:

Oh that is good to know! I'll have to do some disassembly to see what my PCB looks like. I saw a post on Geekhack I think, from a while ago, showing the undrilled mounting holes on the PCB, and an email came back from a KBP rep explaining which mounts could be used but stating that their engineers will look into utilising more in the future to support case swaps.zslane wrote: ↑I'm told that in terms of Pok3r-compatible cases, three mount holes line up with KBP V60s made from 2016 and later.
