That green was already available in a GMK full mod kit with the TA Royal drop on Massdrop not too long ago.
I can try and get a pic of it with classic beige ... but i think it looks better the the white alphas of TA Royal.

GMK is possibly going to add some more colours to their standard palette next year but custom colours used in previous GBs will not be added.
I still think that CR on TU1 or DY wouldn't be such a bad choice.
The icon mods certainly look nice but adding them to get the required number of keys (104) is slightly over the top in my view. We would be better off to run a complete set at this point.ideus wrote: ↑Plan: Wait for Yuri GMK and Mute group buys to be fulfilled and run this GB with full icon modifiers in muted colors.

I can see your point on the iconifying case, I hope someone be able to do some of them in basic Beige, it would be a shame not to make them available in such standard color, being them so innovative. Imagine Classic Beige Sets, in different Languages, all Iconified.
Regarding the colors I think they are too dark for my taste; but, it is a such personal matter that they may have their share of demand, who knows.

I would vote for "DY (purple) + TU2 (cyan) accents" if would be custom light colors, the normal ones are just to bright to be used with classic beige sets. So "Neither" was my vote :/

I voted for TU1 + DY accents.
I also like green but IMHO the AE is a bit too bright, if I were to choose I would rather have N7, but I would still buy a set of AE-mods if they were produced.

The voting process ended with the following results on sunday:
TU1 + DY: 6
DY + TU2: 0
AE: 1
Neither: 3
I'm currently waiting for a quote on the first set. Once that's in we will see if we need to streamline it a bit.
---
The prices are in
The set as pictured in the mockup in the first post:
MOQ 150: 70,07 €
MOQ 250: 63,05 €
If we ditch all three accent coloured spacebars the price points are:
MOQ 150: 61,97 €
MOQ 250: 55,65 €
The keys will ship in trays only, no more zip-lock bags. When we have finalized the set I'll get the measurements of the trays and can give you a shipping quote.

I want my sparkly diamonds
Also this, from Geekhack:
If so, I'm all for it!

Am I reading you right if I think you would want to have the down arrow version on the normal non-stepped Caps Lock?lordzebu wrote:Good questions. This should be changed for consistency; I'm leaning towards the arrow version though.pikku-allu wrote: Why not have the stepped Caps Lock use the lock icon as well?

Yes the non-stepped Caps Lock will be changed to the down arrow version. We'll also keep the diamonds =).oknytt wrote: ↑I want my sparkly diamonds

Regarding renders: I'm waiting on the product render from GMK. Also I may have a look into custom renders.

I'm liking the look of this set based on the new renders. Purple spacebars are very nice too!

i made some 2d mockups showing some of the possible variations. they represent poker, GH60, whitefox/vanilla, whitefox/true and rama65 (think it's not out there jet).
i hope this helps to get more of you exited.
yes - the colors don't quite look as popping. the rgb values are correct but in real life the lighting conditions can make a huge difference of how we actually perceive a color.
about the truefox-layout: could use one more R1 cap, i think?
also i would suggest one more blank for each R2, R3 and R4.
note that for the L9-colored spacebar you'll probably need wodan's HADapter.
no WIN-logo key? totally fine for me, since the windows logo is something i can happily live without on my keyboard.
please let me know if the layouts have any mistakes. if you have suggestions for more layout examples, let me know.
**EDIT:**
sorry, had to reupload the pictures. the alphas were 100% white, now the have their beige.
RGB values i used:
## Classic Beige
Alpha: L9 / RGB (227, 229, 216)
Modifier: U9 / RGB (185, 186, 180)
Legends: CR / RGB (29, 51, 39)
## Mods
Modifier A: TU2 / RGB (0, 164, 169)
Modifier B: DY / RGB (93, 67, 126)
Legends: CR / RGB (29, 51, 39)

I don't know if it's too late to add this, or if anyone is even interested in this, but it keeps bugging me.
We get all keys we need to essentially use them on two keyboards (or sell one part at some point), one ANSI and one ISO. We got three backspaces, two escapes, two capslocks, four shifts, six controls, six alts and four enter keys. BUT only one tab key. If I were to build a keyboard like your Rama65 mockup, but with backspace on backslash/pipe and stepped capslock, I could use/sell an entire standard ISO set. At least for me this would make drops like these WAY more interesting, as I use wacky layouts and usually could sell quite a huge portion of my sets. It's a huge bummer for me, to have a 70€ in mods at home, while only using ~25€ of it and not being able to do much with the rest, as a single key is missing.
So Tl;dr: How about a second tab-key?

@lordzebu:
damn! why the hell did i use TU2, really have no idea how that happened
will update it tomorrow.
@Sankart:
that's a genius idea!
a second tab would make it so much more useful.
TWO TABS OR NOTHING !!!

I'll think about the second tab and one more R1 blank. Anything else before I am going to tell GMK the good news that they can redo the rendering ?

Only thing I could think of is a R1 1u Delete. I'd like that instead of the blank on the True Whitefox layout, but maybe that's just me. Certainly no must.
I didn't mention it in the last post but I think I should, really nice work with this so far. Renders look good!
