I was also curious about this and couldn’t find anything about it. The switch doesn’t resemble anything I’ve seen before:Polecat wrote: ↑05 Jun 2021, 04:56Ok, I know this says it's a Monterey K207, but what *is* a Monterey K207? Google, wiki, DT search all show nothing. I've been playing with Montereys for thirty years and I've never seen one before.

nope, don't think so, the sliders don't look the same. unless there are different versions, but the caps wouldn't fit either.. hmm..
Yes, the overall look is clearly Goupil, when I look at the posted picture and the wiki.Urbi wrote: ↑10 Jun 2021, 15:14Yes. I ment the overall appearance. I will upload a full photo later (probably tonight).
I did some research prior to buying it and all sources I had said that the Compact Goupils only came with MX switches (some of the full size were G81s but also Cherry though). That's what I expected get to be honest so when I unboxed it yesterday it wasn't a pleasant surprise to be honest. :/
Also: What companies other than GMK and Cherry built keyboards in Germany in the 1980s/1990s?
it doesn't, the Goupil badge is at the top while the Cherry ones have the logo between the function cluster and the main cluster.
Here's the thread, links to pics in the first post:Myoth wrote: ↑10 Jun 2021, 15:32it doesn't, the Goupil badge is at the top while the Cherry ones have the logo between the function cluster and the main cluster.
as far as what it actually is, I'm not sure, but there is a thread hanging around with a lot more pictures. I'm currently posting from my phone so I can't provide it for you.
Here I made a video about that Keyboard: https://youtu.be/hF1vDExbHYU
