I couldn't find a tool or proven method for opening SKCC without breaking the switches on my M0110.
What would be a good guide (with photos or video) for opening SKCC?
Safest way to open Alps SKCC switches?

Just to make certain... you're desoldering them first and fully removing the switch from the plate, right?

Here's the rub... In this image, the gray is the lower housing and the black is the upper housing. The black upper housing clips into the gray lower housing below the plate-line, so you have to have the switch out of the plate to be able to open it.

GENTLY lift up these flaps until the top housing is loosed on that side. Repeat on the other side. The plastic can be very brittle so be careful.chevy12 wrote: 20 Sep 2021, 23:42 Thanks, once I have it desoldered, how do I go about opening it? I have opened SKCM before and have some tools but this is diff.
