phpBB does that as long as a message isn't read online. He probably read the email notification. Default phpBB doesn't include the message in there, I hacked it into it.

I have a feeling that everyone slagging on gothic860 here has something to do with it.
This is why we can't have nice things, guys.
Edit: And if that is the case, gothic, I do encourage you to reconsider cancelling.
Don't let the actions of some people get you down because there are a lot of people who appreciate your efforts - chin up!

Good thing it's cancelled sooner than later, because if it's cancelled like this, without any information, it was unreliable to start with.

Face it, he is just an asshole. Either it was cancelled because of the business details, or because he was but hurt. Either way he is an asshole for canceling without info, and not react when people ask what happened. Although it would be worse if done because but hurt because some people had some opinion about profit. Because his *cough* group buy was rather commercial in nature, and still it was allowed. And his keycap sale was allowed as well. Then it would be weird to get but hurt if other people have the same freedoms, and express an opinion about the nature of his sales. Get some skin. In any case he made people excited who have nothing to do with either possible reason of cancellation - and he just walked off on them.002 wrote:Edit: And if that is the case, gothic, I do encourage you to reconsider cancelling.

I agree. I absolutely don't think he should have punished others because of the comments he received on the keycaps. I think he definitely cancelled it because of that - I doubt it was business related.
All I was trying to achieve was for the good of the people who were interested in these custom cases (not me at all). Instead he threw his toys out of the pram and pulled the plug on it. It's a shame really...and I guess you're right that his tantrum was too much.

He claimed a minimum order of 5 pieces until June 15th, and last time I checked there were 4. Questionable whether this would have happened anyhow.

Hoping that that is the case, I had noticed that, although the 'no comment' part is kinda awkward.kint wrote:He claimed a minimum order of 5 pieces until June 15th, and last time I checked there were 4. Questionable whether this would have happened anyhow.
I admit being vocal, about the possible profiteering in the other keycaps thread, and about the awesomeness of this case offer (even plugged it somewhere). Really hoping the butthurt part is either not applicable, or will be healed with cream.

Not me.
That was the worst part. I have a wood shop and was going to copy his work.
I usually do leech the more interesting pics. Little ones are available from a google search.
