SA Profile Keycaps modifier key wobble

I have two keyboards I have tried SA profile keycaps on:

Keychron K8 Pro
Royal Kludge RK96

On both keyboard, modifier keys that use stabilizers have such as Shift, Enter, Caps Lock, etc, have some serious wobble.

Is this normal for SA profile keycaps? Is there some way to get rid of it?

No, it's not.

I use mine mostly on NovaTouch, which uses Topre stabilisers, which do a great job all-round. I have used them on Costar (Filco) and Cherry (Ducky, Cherry) stabs in the past, too, and didn't notice any issues with stabilisation.

Are these SA caps just the tallest caps you've ever used? The taller the cap, the bigger any given angle of wobble will feel. Wider caps also reveal it more as they're simply larger. Imagine putting a cap as tall as a broomstick on a key and how much it will wobble all the way up at the far end, or for wide keys: picture a surfboard. They'd make quite the artisans…

So this is what I am seeing. If I put the SA shift key on and I push the edge of the shift key, the entire keycap will tilt in that direction by about a 1/8 of an inch. I do not get that kind of shift on the OEM keycaps.

The stabilizers are lower than the keycap next to it, and the three mounts on the keycap are all the same length. So I figured this was happening because of that. There was a gap and when I pressed on the edge of the keycaps, things were bottoming out and causing the entire keycap to tilt.

But since the keycaps that came with the keyboard also have their mounts all at the same length, I would expect the default kepcaps to also have a tilt when pushed on the edges. But they don't. They just depress.

I was thinking putting an o-ring on the stabilizers might help.

Is the keycap height causing this or is it something else?
