I want both, and am willing to pay max 20€ for each(can be more, if quantity is also pretty high, or I need to order more to make it happen).
I want at least 2 or 3 keyboard woth of lube, but hopefully more.

Both, something like 30 euro for the RO-59 and 50 for the Krytox, but I'm fairly flexible to make it happen, as long as I can pay with IBAN.

I will be getting both for myself at the 30euro each price bracket.
Djuzuh, I want to keep this just over here. Can't be bothered with GH, plus I don't have an account on there anymore so I can't answer questions.

I don't know to be honest, this will all have to be worked out when we have enough interest. I won't be making any money off this so it will be as cheap as possible.
Will try and get rough estimates tomorrow (without containers or shipping).

Can I ask you how many keyboards you want to lube in your life? xD.HzFaq wrote:What sort of quantity is €30 worth (of either) going to get us? Are we talking a couple of keyboards worth or a lifetime supply?
Because for me, a couple of keyboards worth is not that far away from a lifetime supply.

Well, if I'm going to be paying €30/€60 I want to be able to do more then 1 or 2 is what I was getting at, but with this first batch I'll probably do 3 (work board, home board, Pure) and then an Ergodox, couple of numpads, maybe some vintage boards depending on whats left/if I can be bothered.
Put me down for €20 for each, its all I can really commit to right now, I might be able to go higher depending on how long the GB goes for . Thanks for sorting this foss.

Get in for the sport of experimenting with specialist lube! Not for the value for money, because that is not determined yet... this is what we gonna find out.

I'm in it for the sport, that's why I'm putting down now and not once everyone's argued for weeks and weeks about which ones best ( ), I just also want a leeetle value for money to go with my sport as I'm tight .

Can we get a list of places that sell it? I will email them all and get quotes. Anyway, off to bed. Will deal with it all in the morning and update the OP when I get pricing info.

A lot of pictures I have seen, people are using paint brushes. Needles would also drive the price up. I don't care either way.Djuzuh wrote:didn't limmy say that using a paint brush makes you use too much lube?

Best way to apply RO-59 would be to use brush.
As for Krytox oils, paint brushes are fine. I prefer small and flat ones. My last comment on brushes were on the brush that goes on the cap. The brush on the pic I saw was very thick and it seemed it would be hard to control the amount of oil applied. Remember, you don't want to over apply Krytox oils.
Not all needle applier is good either. In order to limit the amount of oil applied, the needle used in the applicator should be fairly thin. I use 32G needle and it works okay (32G may be a little thinner than necessary and I would think 30G would work better). Advantage of precision oiler is easy application and that there is virtually no oil wasted.
If you are getting both RO-59 and Krytox oil, I think buying a small brush on your own would work best. Using a very small brush will make it longer to paint, so I use second smallest brush. (Some recommend using the smallest brush and I understand the reason behind it(thin coat and no over applying), but it took too long to do the job with smallest brush for me.)
