Hey guys,
I just purchased a G80-9009 from attarian and it's my dream to get it working with my PC.
You might already know that the keyboard consists of 2 PCB's (1 for the "basic" keyboard and 1 for the extra keys and the F keys)
I'd like to have the "basic" board working with my PC and the extra keys hooked up to a netdruino (or arduino not sure yet).
Is there any1 that thinks he can do the soldering to make that work?
I'm a programmer but pretty clueless if it comes to this type of hardware.

Also, I can take pictures of whatever you want.
So pretty much what would be perfect:
- Keyboard working with USB or PS/2
- Extra keyboard PCB hooked up to a arduino/netdriuno
- (optional) LCD Display connected to the arduino
- (optional) Sound think connected to the arduino
This project has a low priority, I don't want this to be working tomorrow.
I will pay the person helping me, I'm not going to look for a person that does it cheap but does it well.

If it might help: I can also provide a kmd3-thing that should allow the keyboard to work with PC as shown here: http://test.amulethotkey.com/dl/manuals ... _v1.00.pdf
Only problem is I don't have any cables, so if you're able to help me get the keyboard work with the kmd3 (get cables, including power supply) that would be a great help too.

How many of these keyboards are around?
I have a favour to cash in with a member around here who could do it, but I want to know if it will be worthwhile.
I think that a converter might be best, to start with. Start with looking at the "Keyboard" port, that looks like it could be a serial port.

There are still a few around, a seller on taobao (which I think is the only user ever that sold those boards, unless attarian didn't get mine from him) still has some for sale.
Ill PM attarian to ask if he can get more.
I aslo have 4 of those KMD3 things that should make the board work out of the box if you have the correct power supply.
When Sixty posted about this board some1 commented that this would be a "Game port" with a DA15 connecter used in old joysticks.
It is possible to buy an Gameport-USB converter on amazon but this will probably be a waste since those convertors don't provide any power.

I could do the work,
the problem is that I am stacked up with projects already, and I would probably need half a year or something for a project like this.
Also, I am actually more interested in getting a keyboard like this myself, and mod it for my own use... and make a good description on how to make it work for you other guys....
so MINIONS, FIND ME A BOARD!

aaaahhhh... I already have a box in the mail from qtan, unfortunately, I think the guys at the customs office needed a new keyboard, and when they saw my Pure, they decided to keep it... at least it seems like that... been in "customs clearance" since the 3. this month... :/

Probably never going to get a full USB mod on this board.
Well, I would he happy if I could get this working:
Any idea where I could get a PSU for this? Also whats the name of the cable I need so I can connect the AK124 to it. I contacted Amulet hotkey, support team replied to my emails but the sales team did not.
(sorry for shitty pics, idk what i do wrong...)
The PDF of the KMD3 for those who are interested: http://ompldr.org/vZm9vYw/kmd3_instructions_v1.00.pdf

I was thinking of some kind of 25-pin cables.. but personally, I'm as blind as a bat when it comes to electronics (trust me trax, you may claim you're a programmer without much knowledge about electronics, but even that is a huge improvement compared to me)
I brought my AK124 to a friend who seems to have more knowledge about cabling and stuff, was nearly going to have it dissected to provide basic infos on creating a cable and PS from scratch. But then, it's a gambling test
I also tried to find info on how this guyhere
managed to power up the board, but no response so far
anybody have a clue as how to perform the mods (with/without the kmd3)? before I lose my mind and start hunting for WEY RAY06?
