I had no time during the past week but some pictures of a Cherry G80-3000 and a keyboard with Monterrey switches.
It's Clicky time
They Cherry keyboard came with Lasered keys and the case but I'm cleaning them right now.

I think I can write it off as my secret santa present still hasn't arrived. I assume it is lost. Whoever my secret santa was, could you let me know what was my present?

This thread doesn't serve to promote postal services.. Really didn't expect some of these to take so long (or not arrive at all)

You have sent me about 5 packages in the past and I sent you my address for the secret santa organization.
I can only draw one conclusion: @webwit: The PM organization sucks!

As said in the corresponding thread, my gift arrived after two months, shortly after Valentine's day. If it had been just a tad earlier, I could have believed I had a secret admirer
Please excuse the poor quality of my photos :
As you can see this is an Access IS matrix keyboard with 90 keys. It's a great gift since I've been lurking on the Access IS boards for quite some time but didn't have the opportunity to get one yet. Thanks a lot secret santa
It has a double headed PS/2 cable, one head being male and the other female. I don't really get why but hopefully I will find more information on that subject later. Eventually I'd like to replace the cable for something more conventional and shorter, as the board will be plugged to a laptop most of the time. The design is beautiful, very compact and sturdy, seems much better to me than the modern tipro cases.
I know already that I'll enjoy programming it ! From my current experience it won't accept being programmed on a 64bit Windows 7, even plugged on a PS2 port. I'll try again on my legacy machine equipped with a good old XP, that one should be fine. My layout options are already running into my head quickly, and it's going to be travelling with me all other the country as I want to take it for work.
Thanks again, I am a happy man !
