As I got here cuz of my MEKA G1 firstly, after a few weeks I found the old keyboard in my basement, and here on forum people found it very rare, as I'm not yet for selling it, tho I'd like to see how much it might worth.
So, here it is, in kinda dirty condition right now:

Just because it is rare doesn't mean it's worth a lot. May get 20-30gbp for it. For something to be worth a lot it needs to be rare and people must want it a lot, only guessing but this only has the former.

Hi, i'm new member. I've been reading forum for a while.
I would like to know how much is Nixdorf (siemens-nixdorf) keyboard worth? It has cherry black in clear housing, pcb mount.

To be honest, 40-80 is low. This board is rather rare, so you should auction it, I predict it will go for more than 60, open end.

Nah
40 is what I could afford
80 what a couple others would pay at dt
And "more" what Koreans and reseller would pay

This section is for giving people an accurate estimate, not your opinion on what you would pay for it. Stay objective please.

I wouldnt spend that kind of cash on it either, but it would not be fair to Zeppelin to keep him in the dark.

LOL!

You surely did!

I hoped it was a sleeper as the 1500 yesterday, but nope.

Congrats anyway, the price is more or less OK.

Damn.

And I even havent asked the seller if this thing is working. I could bite me in the ****.

The decsription says that the #-key is broken. Cant sleep till I get it.

Edit; DAAAMN now I see that there is no switch under the #-key. The keycap seems to sit on the PCB. That means that the whole keyboard isnt working because of the circuits, right?

Just tell him that you want to step back because the broken switch has not been mentioned clearly in the title.

Alternatively, please order an MXBROWN/NW from Cherry MX!

"eine taste (#) ist ohne funktion - kein anschlag - feder oder was auch immer kaputt"

I dont think I have the right to step back here.

Enough people here who can solder a switch, no?
Why isn't it more valuable, thought those were super-rare?

ANSI ones seem to be uber-rare, I think. There are more ISO versions of it out there.

Edit:
The seller has just responded and confirmed that it works apart from the #-key... Excitement increases... Panic decreases...

The first one, meh, looks Dec like.

The second one is a honeywell hall effect, with what looks like to be the white version of the switch.
From the code on the switch (and my deciphering of the code numbers), 1K3S:
  • 1 - White Stem
  • K - Not sure from only one pic, but pretty sure this would describe the stem shape
  • 3 - Normal weighting (about 78 cN)
  • S - 4 pins, Vcc, Gnd, and redundant sense lines
See the wiki I wrote a while ago for more details -> http://deskthority.net/wiki/Honeywell_Hall_Effect

The keyboard is interesting to me, at minimum to check if any other keys have different switch codes and for dismantle pics.
