Sorry guys, had a long and busy weekend.
Payment/"shipping" update
Payments from Llamas, tlt, maasto, lapin00b, Glissant, and Neal have been received and marked as shipped for Paypal purposes (to keep them from locking up the PP account). Invoices may or may not reflect the payments yet. Keep checking this thread for the actual ship date(s), or spam this thread/7bit via PM the message "WHERE ARE MY SWITCHES, DID YOU SEND THEM YET." This only includes payments to me via Paypal. Note that the address on your Paypal notifications/notes are not necessarily the addresses 7bit will ship your switches to, he ships to the address on your invoice.

Hey 7bit, the GH60 group buy is now going ahead and i read in a thread over there about you being the source for the switches and stabilisers. Since I have my switch order from you can I order some stabs with it? Saves on shipping cost since were both in the EU. If this complicates matters to much for you then that is fine Only looking for about 6 sets.
[edit]
May have misread that you are supplying the stabs, correct me if i'm wrong!

heh, fair enough I thought it was you who was leading the pitch fork army against stabilisers!
*off topic*
How do you actually go about not using stabs in a keyboard? I assume you have designed your own?

I'm using a Tipro here at home which requires only 1, 1.5 and 2 units keys which go over 2 switches. The space bar has 4 units and comes with stabilisers, but since I don't have a 4 units space bar which would match the key caps I use, I put a 1.5 units blank key on it.
It works fine, so I decided that I don't need a long space bar anymore.
The Phantom group buy was the first ever to feature a true 7BIT-layout keyboard, ie a keyboard with a 1.5 units (or shorter space bar) and a lot of modifier keys in the bottom row.
Because all key caps are either less or equal 1.5 units, or go over 2 switches (2 units), there is no need for stablisers anymore.

Crosspost from the ALPS thread, to which no replied:
cgbuen wrote:Two nights ago I sent an order like this:
ALPSMT 115
MXGREEN 2
MXRED 2
(my email)
But still no response. Is this just lag in the bot, or was I not supposed to mix Alps with MX, or is there some other issue?

I'm back.
I just got a message from my supplier:
Cherry raised their prices and MOQ is now 4000 switches.
Please, everybody stop advertising mechanical keyboards to mass-producers!!!
