what have I found here? Wasn´t the highest bidder and auction ended but it looks interesting though? 2€ seems quite low. Should I went higher then my 1,50€

Could be an NTC board. http://deskthority.net/wiki/NTC_KB-6151
Congratulations to the buyer for that price, looks like a very nice clicky Alps board to me.

thats it. fuck, should have went with 2,50€. Wonder if the lucky buyer is actually around here somewhere. Feel bad for the seller though. Probably would have told him to keep it as 8.10€ with shipping can´t be satisfying for him.

IBM Displaywriter just open for bids.

Is this indeed a beam spring? What does it take to get this working with a contemporary computer?

That was already posted on the previous page. Yes, it's beam spring. All it takes to get it working is xwhatsit's wonderful controller.rjrich wrote:IBM Displaywriter just open for bids.

Ooops! Sorry for the redundant post; I missed the first one. Thanks for answering anyway. Good to know that these beam springs can be revived.mr_a500 wrote:That was already posted on the previous page. Yes, it's beam spring. I actually had a Laser keyboard with the SMK MX mount switches, for what it's worth, that did that same solution for avoiding a truncated backspace or right shift with the big-ass enter.

Hehe, all the following terms have something in common: laser, vertical pipe (as bar), backslash, truncated ...bhtooefr wrote:I actually had a Laser keyboard with the SMK MX mount switches, for what it's worth, that did that same solution for avoiding a truncated backspace or right shift with the big-ass enter.

Big ass return just needs one of those, right across the middle, and that would be quite a nice layout.
When ISO return isn't oversized enough for you: go big assed!

well excuse me kbdfr
, as I understand this thread, informing and sharing is the point here. Anyway quite a few more users will roaming ebay than we have here. Real "finds" have become rare
. Often the auctions that end during the daytime in the week are promising.
. But if yo think I am overdoing it I will step back.
so have others. DT is not "public" as far as I am concerned. This is a "small" elite communityBeen following half the stuff you just made public

He's just a grumbler. We had the argument about the purpose of this thread way back in the early pages. I for one am pleased it exists. I got a nice AEK II out of it, and played matchmaker for a few boards too, including a steal of an SSK.

I know. That´s ok. I understand you kbdfr. I envy you Halvar for your SSK steal. THAT´s a rare catch !!He's just a grumbler.
