The way MX and alps switches click is entirely different, and IMO one isn't necessarily better than the other.RBithrey wrote: ↑Hey everyone,

Are White ALPS comparable to MX Blues for instance? (I'm a bit of a newbie haha so I apologise in advance)
Thanks!
It's always difficult to compare these things, but if I had to give it a shot I'd say white alps are like heavier, much more tactile MX blues with a louder and more crisp, lower pitched metallic click. Alps tactility also tends to be more rounded/longer, and closer to the start of switch travel compared to MX style switches.

Thanks for that! I just bought it. $25 plus only $12 shipping to Canada is a deal I couldn't pass up. I've been looking for Futaba clickies as well as clicky space invaders. Now I just need to find someone to sell me an erase-eaze NMB board with the clicky space invaderz

If the plastic bits weren't broken, came with original caps, cable, and didn't have expensive shipping than maybe a good price with the cleaning, layout mod and other work done.
Also the DT user selling this unicorn states they are not the reincarnation of berzerkfan if that's what some are thinking.

Judging on how the micro-usb was mounted I would think the person who did these mods to the model f doesn't have the right tools or experience to sell his or her work. Its a "I made this for myself" kind of keyboard.JP! wrote: ↑If the plastic bits weren't broken, came with original caps, cable, and didn't have expensive shipping than maybe a good price with the cleaning, layout mod and other work done.

I'm still wondering if the hole for the usb was intended to look like a butt, balls, boobs or just a heart.codemonkeymike wrote: ↑Judging on how the micro-usb was mounted I would think the person who did these mods to the model f doesn't have the right tools or experience to sell his or her work. I would call this one very nice. Of at least a dozen that I have bought over the past 5 years, only 1 or 2 have been better than that one, and to be missing only one single cap, a modest common alpha, is well above average. A complete set of function/command keys is always a big plus. The plug is stunning.codemonkeymike wrote: ↑
It was more on the condition, Missing a key and in pretty bad shape.
And for Americans, a 4th of July bar code tag is also a bonus.

I like his written text on paper
They are pretty neat but I think you need 3 sets to have enough modifiers for a 60% board
