I asked the selller.
Some time in the past I had the whole keyboard re-switched (I'm a Model M nut so my keyboards all had to be clicky!), so what's in there is white SKCM ALPS. They were originally orange ALPS switches. The Cap Lock key still uses the original switch.

I think they are likely mixing up pictures of an AEK II M3501. White alps on an M0115 would be white whale territory. They had Orange alps through the 600,000s and around 700,000s switched to Salmon. The highest number Orange alps M0115 I have is 691XXX. Have Salmon one at 780XXX and another at 828XXX.clickityClackity wrote: ↑They have a picture (maybe it wasn't there before), it's white alps.balotz wrote:M0115 (possible orange alps) for $15

Good call, and very good to know. Thanks! I have one in the 618k's with orange. Always wondered what the cutoff was.yangdaddy wrote:I think they are likely mixing up pictures of an AEK II M3501. Thanks, but I just realized that I was wrong about the seller's board. I missed the reply dothedog received from the seller and didn't realize he changed out the switches. Wow, I love clicky too, but the Oranges are so awesome. I wonder why he didn't just get an AEK II and take out the rubber dampeners?

Does this annoy any of you? Complete BS description stating there's no difference in feel or sound between his purple sliders and HHKB type s sliders. if that were true he wouldn't have bought a $300 keyboard just for the sliders. He could at least drop the price, I recently sold an 87u 55g that was butchered by its previous owners because they wanted the 55g domes for like £80

IBM E57888 LR53866 Keyboard

The black M13 is a great keyboard - I got one from Cindy/Elecplus in mint condition, apart from a stretched cord. Here's one that appears to be in as-good or even better condition, for quite a bit less than the one you linked MrDuul:

If the shipping to Canada + import wasn't more than the $20 for the board ($31USD to be exact), I would have bought this already. It looks like it's in decent shape too

I offered $10 and it was auto-rejected...I guess there's a setting for that LOL.
*Also - balotz, I must say - you always post pretty great finds from what I've seen. You found me my Sejin SKM-1030 that I got for under $30 and I am grateful!

Maybe there's a setting, or maybe the seller has already rejected a higher offer and the system just auto-rejects anything lower.Harshmallow wrote: ↑I offered $10 and it was auto-rejected...I guess there's a setting for that LOL.

Glad you found it useful - what did you think of the 1030? I still haven't figured out what the keycaps are made of on mine.Harshmallow wrote: ↑I offered $10 and it was auto-rejected...I guess there's a setting for that LOL.

There are even two settings: a minimum and a maximum allowing an offer to be automatically rejected or accepted:Scarpia wrote: ↑Maybe there's a setting, or maybe the seller has already rejected a higher offer and the system just auto-rejects anything lower.Harshmallow wrote: ↑I offered $10 and it was auto-rejected...I guess there's a setting for that LOL.

I always just assumed they were nice ABS doubleshots - they kind of remind me of the NEC blue oval board's doubleshot caps, but in a different profile. I really like the board. I like that it's got a deeper sound than other switches like this (Alps Plate Spring for one), but I wish it had a bit more tactility. I applied the 'fix' to a few switches just to see, but nothing changed - the entire board is uniform so I'm sure it's just how they are. The noise is good though. I can type very quickly on this board.balotz wrote: ↑Glad you found it useful - what did you think of the 1030? I have been out of the (active) keyboard game for quite some time now, but I'm looking to get back in, and as I just ordered one myself, I wanted to link some OEM G81s (at least 3 are branded „MAXDATA”) on German ebay for 3€ (7.99€ shipping inside of Germany). AFAIR there are a bunch of people in East Asia that go nuts for certain OEM cases.
http://www.ebay.de/itm/162573431957
When I ordered mine, there were still 5 G81s left, so 4 are still there, and at least one (it might be mine, as I just asked for the nicest of the bunch) is a „G81-3424LPNDE-0/00”.
I have no idea whether these are still of interest for the case or the keycaps, but I thought I might as well share them.
I actually ordered one because I want to try white MYs…

I made him an offer on it..we'll see if he takes it. :p (the M2 that is)
Edit: Got it! Probably going to go look for capacitors now I've heard the ones in it tend to die a lot.. anyone know which ones I need off the top of their head?
