Added a IBM 5155 Model F XT to my collection!
It came pretty dirty, full of destroyed foam, hair and even some bugs as an icing on the cake. It also originally had a Spanish layout, and I'm working on swapping them out for UK or US language keycaps. Converted with an internal Soarer's (visible in the cable hole).

That explains the diacritics to the right of the letter P. Can we (ok, can I) have a picture of the keycaps you've replaced already?

Couldn't put this on the desktop thread since a dresser is not a desk, is how I ruled it.
I got a nice display case for my ALPS! (And some other boards.) It's just missing a WANG!
It's a shame that it's impossible to get a good picture with the light source, it looks better in person.

May I ask what the left and second from top to botttom keyboard is? Nice looking.

Certainly! To the left of the Omnikey 102 is a formerly NOS datadesk switchboard, and to the left of the zenith is an OmniMac Ultra.John Doe wrote: ↑21 Feb 2020, 18:34ZedTheMan wrote: ↑21 Feb 2020, 16:47Couldn't put this on the desktop thread since a dresser is not a desk, is how I ruled it.

Got these sick keycaps from a video editing ADK as well as my Cherry (Tipro) RC128BM today. Would appreciate some help with programming the Tipro, but for now I'm just enjoying the view
EDIT: Apologies for the dirty mouse pad, spilled some tea on it the other day and haven't had a chance to clean it >_<

Yes Unicomp - and I think they actually did a good job on these keys. Nothing like the bad examples around the web. So maybe they are stepping up their game in time for the SSK..
Overall very pleased with it!

The AEK with left hand numpad is amazing and I love the caps. I really need to find some. I love Chinese / Japanese / Cyrilic / Arabien AEK caps. At this point all I want is to collect them like pokémon.
I don’t know in a country where this is common but if you sell some I am your guy, and I can trade for my local French caps too :p

Hey, I love the legends too, it just was very striking to me how unusually thick the keycaps are for Alps mount ones. It reminds me of Cherry caps both for legends and thickness, and those are some of my favorites.
All of your boards are beautiful and I could not hope for one of that caliber, but then, I don't tend to make many customs.

to all the people who are using keyboards that sit high off the table, don't you worry about rsi? your wrists will be at quite an angle to use them. you maybe fine for 6 months, a year or two, but it catches up with you, and then it doesn't want to leave you

Always been jealous of your Alps boards E3E, they've just always been too expensive to justify for me. Currently using this at work, Cooler Master QuickFire Rapid with MX Greens. Blue Vortex case and Korean PBT caps with Jelly Key artisan.

The simple answer, that no one wants to hear, is: Don't rest your wrists.
