I do not know German, but seeing the price I'm sure keyboards are used.kbdfr wrote:Of course you can buy them from amazon for a lot of money, but:

By the way, if you are just trying to find out how much your keyboard is worth, we have a special thread for that:

No, they're just junk. NIB junk.
You ever heard of the old poker saying: if you look around the table and can't see the dummy, then it's probably you?

Of course they are used (even if Muirium as usual has no clue), but:Thvle wrote:I do not know German, but seeing the price I'm sure keyboards are used.kbdfr wrote: […] Of course you can buy them from amazon for a lot of money, but:

But well, you are obviously just trying to convince yourself that your keyboard is worth a small fortune…

I mean everyone posting on your thread here (besides me!) knows more about these boards than you do. Listen to them! (If not me!)

¿? But what I said? I just said that seeing these prices are used keyboards. Can anyone confirm?
No attempt to convince of anything. I just said a current G80 costs 80 € new. Whoever wants to have new need pay it.

Everyone agrees that you can get a G80-1800 for 80 euro. Nobody thinks it's a good price. It's a crap price. Only a fool would pay that for such a shitty keyboard. You can buy them for 3 euro used. Your keyboard is not worth very much money. If you paid 80 euro for it then you were already ripped off. Nobody here will pay you >100 euro for it. Let's just move on with our lives.

Shitty is exagerate... The keyboard is nice, but keycaps lasered is shit. 80€ is expensive, but 50 or 60 is nice price for G80.scottc wrote: Everyone agrees that you can get a G80-1800 for 80 euro. …provided they don"t have lasered keycaps, otherwise they're not worth much.Thvle wrote:Shitty is exagerate... No, really, the new G80s are shitty. The case is flimsy and thin unlike the old G80s, and the switches (just like all new Cherry switches) are scratchy as sandpaper.
The old ones are good, but the new ones..

Note that the shittiness of modern Cherry hardware is my principal motive as a routine complainer. They ride on their legacy, but in the old days they weren't selling junk quite like this!
