Eew, I wouldn't want to type on pomade... Might be interested if they are POM though.7bit wrote: ↑I will let you know, once I have them here.
If they are relatively new keyboards, ugly, slipery POMade is what are made of.

After testing 2 of the G80-3850 (MX board 3.0), I can say that is theoryt thes are really great keyboards, except that that MX board 3.0 text at the bottom right is totally stupid and that these all have a fatal weak point:
The flimsy little mini-USB socket seems to have loose contacts. I could type on one of these while holding the plug at a specific position.
I suggest, you open it and replace the socket by a real cable.
The keyboards need new keycaps and a paint-job done on the case.

I was after the keycaps. I am thinking of using them for making a board with Cherry MX that is as thin as possible, for use when travelling ... and just to see how thin I can make them.7bit wrote: ↑The keyboards need new keycaps and a paint-job done on the case.

Just pm CherryMX:
G803850LYBGB2C
I suggest you do the same what I did with my Tipros:
Wash it under hot water, with soap and let it dry (upside down) for 3-4 days.

Yes, like new 3850 is fine for me. Can you take the money out of my R5a refund please? Do I still need to hassle the bot? I'll have that board shipped to my regular address but other PCBs etc will be to an updated address when I have it. Shall I PM with details?

My new address is DONOTSHIPYET because I won't move for a week. But for the 3850, my current address will do. Just future things eg. HyperMicro + qHACK PCBs should be the new address.
