I did not answer that point in Menuhin's post not because I would not agree with him, but because it is part of his justification for denying the Holocaust. As he puts it, his "
primary driver behind is PEACE - genuine PEACE for the whole world".
Of course Israel's settlement policy is morally indefensible, legally unjustifiable, politically insane and an obstacle to peace in the region.
If being opposed to it proves one's being for peace, so we are on the same side.
Menuhin is for peace, and I am for peace.
But he denies the Holocaust, that's the point.
He calls it "asking questions" and constantly requests "forensic evidence" that Jews (beside other groups) were purposely exterminated, always doing so as if such evidence simply did not exist or was highly questionable.
I just don't see what this has to do with having peace (in his own writing: "
PEACE") as a "
primary driver".
