Release date of 12th May, RRP £150...
More information on the board

Thoughts?
Price seems high to me, but then lots of other gamer boards with backlighting are around that ballpark. Red backlighting is...fine....if you like that kind of thing. Caps/font look pap, alluminium case looks kind of cool though.
Clearly not aimed at me so I'll pass on getting one, but I guess its nice to see Cherry joining the party (better late than never and all that).

hmm that case looks bulky for a "modern" keyboard, I like that! I like black caps on that metal case color combination. But I have generally not heard/ read good things about recent Cherry products.

I would not buy it anyhow, but it's somewhat good looking.

My thoughts:
- Price seems a bit high
- Aluminium case sounds very nice
- Braided USB cable is a nice touch
- Red backlight... meh...
- Those caps
- I wonder if this is PCB-mount or plate-mount
All in all, not the board for me either. If it were TKL I'd be sorely tempted.

It looks like a nice big old slab in that pic, also note the return of the Cherry key above the numpadseebart wrote: hmm that case looks bulky for a "modern" keyboard, I like that! The keyboard looks really solid and heavy. Nice! Also has a good looking wrist rest.

Well it's clearly aimed at gamers (the LED, the font, the 'speed', the marketing). It seems they finally woke up and noticed they form the bulk of customers in the mechanical keyboard market. Not for me, it looks like a toy.

They probably have no choice especially once Razer decided to use Razer's own custom switch. It's a wonder how many people will fall for Razer marketing and branding!webwit wrote:Well it's clearly aimed at gamers (the LED, the font, the 'speed', the marketing). 200€ or more are too much for me and for this type of keyboard... But I am not a gamer...
