Thanks!
[1] No diodes in the switches, because they will be on the PCB.
I bring some thumb-screws to make you remember ...Ascaii wrote:I know a german geekhacker that ordered from them directly I think, need to remember his name^^. Then we could ask him.

I suppose LEDs are meant.7bit wrote:?cactux wrote:if you have switches with diodes, you wont be able to place any leads .

I have a source for switches.
Here's a short quote of the mail:

One switch would be 0.44EUR
EDIT:
I forgot: They could supply anything from Cherry if we can give them the specific order number.

And me from improvising some thumb screws!Ascaii wrote:you saved me from remembering your name^^.
That's quite expensive.blainchen wrote:Ascaii wrote: you saved me from remembering your name^^.
I forgot the most important:
To the price there will be added the VAT, which is 19%, so one switch would be 0.5236EUR.
MX1A-11DW (Black slider with pin & diode) : 110ea = USD $59webwit wrote:I wonder how many kbdholic has left.
We need:blainchen wrote:Hey there,
Just called them:
Prices have fallen to 0.33EUR/switch + VAT
So it would be 0.33*1.19=0.3927EUR per switch.
The girlie told me, that I should request an offer, so she could use accurate prices, but for that I need an average number and which type you need.
I don't know how many switches are in need.
7bit keep in mind that we must order at least 1600 of one switch type. Then it goes upwards in 800pcs steps.
But we demand FULL n-key rollover including stabilisers!blainchen wrote:Wohoo, you're going crazy.
I don't know if Cherry can manufacture stabilizers with diodes
sixty wrote:Why would you go for swiches with diodes? The PCB of the Phantom is designed to have the diodes on the side of each switch, no? Switches with diodes will not even fit the PCB.
Edit: The same goes for stabilizers. The PCB drawings you guys have up do not support any stabilizers. I see no holes for them. I don't think Cherry still sells any of the "plate mounting" stablizers and you probably would have to hit up a Taiwan company for those.
\KL's per key price is not so bad compared with Topre's!ripster wrote:KL's $90 for dye subbed Signature Plastics is sure one way to jumpstart the economy. Japan is doing well selling $120 ABS spacebars I see too.
Damn, and to think my 2nd post at Geekhack was saying people who paid $35 for Topre WASD/Red Esc keys were crazy.
