Cherry MX switches and stabilisers for plate mounting

For the Phantom keyboard, we need up to 99 switches (without diodes[1]) and some plate-mountable stabilisers.

Does anybody have information on where ( ) to get these, or what the MOQ ( ) is if we order directly from Cherry?

That's quite expensive.

800 switches are for 8 keyboards, so this would be OK.

I think we should start with these prices and when we find another source which is cheaper we go for that.

Around 42 EUR compared to 57.
Even with 19% VAT included, it would be 7 EUR cheaper.

The girlie told me, that I should request an offer, so she could use accurate prices, but for that I need an average number and which type you need.

I don't know how many switches are in need.

I read the cheapest Cherry switches are the ones from Taiwan.
Look at how much armygroup charges for 1 switch. 0.25 Euros before shipping, that's some crazy price.

The ones they have however, are plate mounted and they do not have diodes.

Why would you go for swiches with diodes? The PCB of the Phantom is designed to have the diodes on the side of each switch, no? Switches with diodes will not even fit the PCB.

Edit: The same goes for stabilizers. The PCB drawings you guys have up do not support any stabilizers. I see no holes for them. I don't think Cherry still sells any of the "plate mounting" stablizers and you probably would have to hit up a Taiwan company for those.

Has SP just started doing Dyesub? KL's group buy and the nyancat keycaps are the first time I found out SP does dyesub. The nyancat keycaps look pretty good, except the resulting colors of putting dye on non-white keycaps is a crapshoot.
