Following on from [wiki]Mitsumi KPQ Type[/wiki], [wiki]Mitsumi KPR Type[/wiki], [wiki]Mitsumi KKQ Type[/wiki] and [wiki]Mitsumi KKR Type[/wiki], I've found a few more hints:
http://www.best-electronics-ca.com/1200 ... 0Mylar.htm — this and at least one other keyboard with old pressure foot have PCBs and membranes marked with "KSD-" suggesting KSD Type
http://kbdbabel.sourceforge.net/matrix/ — PCB marked "KSR-" — I have yet to check what this machine has.
We already have KLT-11 from Devlin (yellow tactile MX mount miniature mechanical) — looking at Mitsumi part numbers, that is possibly a valid part number. Sadly KLT is not given on the Wayback Machine, so it seems it was ditched long before KPQ et al. The reason for not using KLT in general is that linear, tactile and clicky may have separate series, as with KPQ/KPR and KKQ/KKR. So there should be a linear KLS I suppose, but I can't find anything.
Also, the Mitsumi-made [wiki]Commodore Amiga 1000[/wiki] keyboard has KCT-A89YC written on the PCB, so that suggests KCT for standard mechanical type 2. KCT is tactile, which may be the reason why KCT and KLT share a matching final letter. Again, no KCS or anything, and KCT Type is also not on the Wayback machine.
Sadly that weird type that Guru found can't be identified as the PCB doesn't give anything away. Likewise the Amiga 500 membranes don't give the type (the controller PCB might, but it seems not to).
