Cherry G80 series (originally G 80) is Cherry's most prominent mechanical keyboard series. To date, they have been found with Cherry MX and M8 switches, but the Keyboards and Switches Catalogue 1982 also cites models with M7 and M9 switches (G 80-0075 and G 80-0255 respectively). The majority of G80 keyboards that people encounter will have MX switches.
G80 covers both assembled products and bare keyboards.
