Flytech Carry I keyboard (officially "Carry-I" but also styled "Carry I") refers to at least two keyboards sold with the Flytech Carry I series of ultra-compact "book-size" desktop computers.
PC-AT version
This is a variant of the BTC 5100, with model number FT-7084. The pencil tray at the top is replaced with a series of grooves, and the keyboard is registered with the FCC under Flytech instead of BTC. Manufacture by BTC is confirmed by the BTC 5100 quality control sticker on the rear, which exactly matches the style used by BTC keyboards.[1] Additionally, this keyboard features an auto-switching feature allowing it to work on both AT and XT class machines.
As with the BTC 5100, more than one switch type may have been used; tactile BTC foam and foil has been tentatively confirmed.[1]
PC-XT version
PC-XT Carry I computers have been seen with a different variant of this keyboard, model number FT-7082.[2] This keyboard only has two LEDs (caps lock and scroll lock) and the function keys stop at F10.
The manufacturer of this variant is not known. This variant is much closer in style to the Monterey K110, with short function keys and a space to the left of 1, but appears to have a sheet of plastic under the keycaps[3] suggesting that it was also produced by BTC. The keycap typeface resembles the vintage style used by both Key Tronic and BTC, as seen on the BTC 5100 version of the keyboard. As with the FT-7084, this keyboard is usable on both XT and AT class machines.
