Griffin PowerMate is a jog wheel / dial with a USB interface. It is built of machined aluminum, with a rubber anti-skid base and a single lead that provides a wired USB interface. The PowerMate presents itself to its host OS as a single-axis pointing device with a single button. The button click activated by pressing the top of the wheel. A blue LED in the base can be programmed with flash or pulse under different conditions.
The USB PowerMate was ultimately discontinued in favor of the wireless variant, the Griffin PowerMate Bluetooth.
